Archive for April, 2010

I was born in Kampong Sungai Choh, Rawang Hulu Selangor about 55 years ago. Now at this time, this area has attracted the attention of politicians and the public in the whole country. Hulu Selangor has attracted the attention of the nation because in the coming Sunday there will be a local election. The local election is to choose a new parliamentary representative of the peoples due to the death of Datuk Dr Zainal Abidin of PKR. Barisan National has nominated P Kamalanathan of MIC as their candidates and PKR has nominated Datuk Zaid Ibrahim. Besides the two candidates, representing the two main political parties in Malaysia there are also two candidates contesting in the election as the representative of non-partisan but both of them finally withdraw. The general breakdown of the population consists of 53.94 percent Malays, 18.98 percent Indians and 26.67 percent Chinese, others consist of 0.41percent.The Malays are Muslims, and the rest are mostly non-Muslims.

In the last by election in Negeri Sembilan, Barisan National wins and many believe that it was the beginning of the awakening of Barisan National. Our Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib gave a smiling face when the result of the election announced. He was certainly very happy with the result, because it somehow indicates to a certain extent the acceptance of the people on his leadership as the new President of Barisan National and the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Prior to this Barisan National had lost almost all-local election conducted since the last general election. It was a great moment of joy for all the leaders of the Barisan National to see their candidates Dato’ Mohd Isa Samad wins the election. Many political analysts also believe that the result of the election indicates the acceptance of the people on the concept of one Malaysia mooted by our Prime Minister. Hulu Selangor by election is another test to the leadership of Prime Minister and the concept of one Malaysia.

Politically, Hulu Selangor has always been in the hand of Barisan National and MIC has always represented it. When I was young, I can remember Barisan National always wins in Hulu Selangor and the candidates were always from MIC. In those days, Malays in Hulu Selangor are very loyal to Umno and Barisan National. They will always support Barisan National. No matter whoever the candidate was, they support Umno and Barisan National. In those days, the support of the Malays in Hulu Selangor toward Umno and Barisan National was undivided. Now the situation has changed dramatically. Malay support towards Umno and Barisan National is no longer, as it was before. Many Malays particularly the young support PKR. In the last general election PKR win the Parliamentary seat ofHulu Selangor, which was traditionally, belong to Barisan National. Many young voters want to have reform and they opted for PKR. They want reform and they had enough with Barisan National. In the last general election, PKR took over Selangor from Barisan National.

One advantage PKR has over Barisan is that PKR has nominated Malay while Barisan National has nominated Indian to be the candidates. Although our Prime Minister has put a great thought on who should be the candidates to represent Barisan National but in the end, he decides MIC to represent Barisan National. Najib has clearly said that the choice he made is base on ‘setiakawan’. He has made the choice because MIC has traditionally contested as the representatives of Barisan National in Hulu Selangor. Our Prime Minister has made the choice in order to maintain harmony between the component parties in Barisan National and not on the needs of the time and place. According to the needs of time and place Barisan National should chose Malay to be the candidate. The situation has now changed dramatically and although it may hurt MIC; the right choice of candidates to represent Barisan National in Hulu Selangor according to the needs of time and place should be a good Muslim Malay.

When Barisan National put up P Kamalanathan as the candidates versus Datuk Zaid Ibrahim of PKR, the Umno members can smell that they are at the disadvantage .Umno members fear that the Malays in Hulu Selangor may vote for Datuk Zaid Ibrahim instead of P Kamalanathan from Barisan National. In order to counter the disadvantage, Umno members start the tactic of exposing the bad qualities of Datuk Zaid Ibrahim. Umno members has label Datuk Zaid Ibrahim as a person addicted to alcohol. Datuk Zaid Ibrahim has admitted that he is not an angel and he said that he has asked forgiveness from Allah. Even though Datuk Zaid Ibrahim maybe an alcoholic but he is still a Muslim and he is thousand times better than a non-Muslims are. Allah has ordered us to respect a Muslim and not to expose their wrong doings because they have recited the Kalimah. When Umno members continue to attack the personalities of Datuk Zaid Ibrahim, Allah is not please with them and Barisan National may lose this by election. None can give honor and disgrace but Allah. Allah is the One that decide who will wins in this election and not the people. The decision of Allah is base on the amals of the people and not on their wealth and power. It is not the people who give power but Allah. Allah is the One that gives government and Allah is the One that take away government. Allah decides to give government to those with better amal.

THE ORDERS OF ALLAH AND IMAN

Allah wants the whole humankind to be successful and in order to become successful they must obey all the orders of Allah. The intention CLICK of obeying the orders of Allah is not to become successful but to please Allah. In order to become successful we have to obey all the orders of Allah at all particular times. In order to know what the order of Allah is at a particular time we have to know what the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w did at that time. What the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w did at a certain time are the orders of Allah most pleased by Allah at that time. Whatever the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w did is not in accordance with his desire but in accordance with the desire of Allah. When we follow exactly what the Prophet s.a.w did in all circumstances we are, actually following the orders of Allah at all times. What is Islam? Islam is what the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w did in all situation and condition. When we followed exactly what the Prophet s.a.w did then we are a true practicing Muslim.

Allah has ordered us to follow the Quran and when we do as the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w did then we are following the Quran. Al-Quran and Sunnah means the same thing. Quran is the words of Allah and Sunnah is the practice of the Prophet s.a.w, which is the interpretation of the Quran. We cannot understand Quran without looking at the practice of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w and we cannot understand Sunnah without looking at the practices of the Sahabah at the times of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. When we follow Sunnah as understood by the Sahabah then we are following the orders of Allah as shown by Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. As an example, Allah had allowed Prophet Muhammad s.a.w to marry with anyone he likes and the numbers of women that the Prophet s.a.w can marry is unlimited. This is special to the Prophet s.a.w and none other the Prophet s.a.w is allow to do as the Prophet s.a.w did. Other the Prophet s.a.w can only marry matured women and the maximum number of women that anyone can marry at any one time is only four. The Sahabah who understand Sunnah have never married women of underage as practice by Samsuddin Ajaib CLICK. Allah sent the Prophet s.a.w to interpret the Quran according to the wishes of Allah. None understands the Quran more than Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. When we follow the Prophet s.a.w and the Sahabah, we are following the Quran as understood by the Prophet s.a.w and the Sunnah as understood by the Sahabah.

Many Muslims think it is so difficult to understand the Quran and in order to understand the Quran we must know Arabic languages and we must learn the interpretation of the Quran from the learned person who reads and study Arabic languages and the Quran for so many years. Many people are able to read, memorized the quran, and understand Arabic languages but if they do not practice the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w, they do not understand the Quran. How much we follow the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w indicates the level of iman and the level of understanding of the Quran that we have. Sunnah of the Prophet is the interpretation of the Quran and the practice of the Sahabah at the times of the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w is the interpretation of the Sunnah. Interpreting the Quran without looking at the Sunnah and the practice of the Sahabah will mislead the Muslims to the deviated path.

Our Prophet Muhammad s.a.w said in the approximate meaning that the one who follows the correct path is the one who follows my Sahabah and me. Prophet Muhammad s.a.w also said that his umat divide into seventy-two groups and only one group is in the correct path. The group that is in the correct path is the one that follow Prophet Muhammad s.a.w and his Sahabah. What was said by the Prophet s.a.w must be true and nothing but the truth. All of us must be worried whether we are in the correct path or in the deviated path. The chances to be in the correct path are very small while the chances to be in the wrong path are very great. In order to be in the correct path we have to follow Prophet Muhammad s.a.w and the Sahabah. The path followed by the Prophet and the Sahabah determine by the aims of their lifes. The aim of their lifes is to win the pleasure of Allah. In order to be in the correct path we have to make our aim of lifes to be the same as the aims of life of the Prophet s.a.w and the Sahabah. We will win the pleasure of Allah or Allah will be pleased with us only when we obey all the commandments of Allah to please Allah. The more orders of Allah we obey, the more Allah becomes please with us and the more our iman become increase. The more orders of Allah we have neglected, the more Allah becomes displease with us and the more our iman become decrease. The more Sunnah of the Prophet s.a.w we follow, the more Allah is pleased with us and the more our iman increased. The less Sunnah of the Prophet we follow, the less Allah is pleased with us and the more our iman becomes decrease. Our iman will increased when we obey the orders of Allah with the intention to please Allah and when we disobey the orders of Allah our iman will decreased.

The first order of Allah CLICK is to give dakwah to the non-Muslims CLICK about the Kalimah until they are ready to accept and to recite the Kalimah, I bear witness there is no God except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah. In order to renew our iman the Prophet s.a.w also asked us to remind the Muslims about the meaning of the Kalimah and to invite them to obey the orders of Allah in the way of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. CLICK. When we do not give dakwah to non-Muslims CLICK as the Prophet s.a.w and the Sahabah did, and neither have we reminded the Muslims about the Kalimah CLICK then we have disobeyed Allah, we have not followed the Sunnah and our iman becomes weaker. When we have disobeyed the first order of Allah, we have indeed disobeyed a great order of Allah and as a result we have committed a great sin and our iman becomes very weak.

The greater the order we have transgressed the greater sin we will have and the more iman we will lose. When we transgress a small order of Allah, we will have a small sin and we will lose small amount of iman. When we have transgressed a great order of Allah like the order of dakwah to non-Muslims, we will have very great sin and we will lose great amount of iman. When Muslims are not doing the work of dakwah to non-Muslims, their iman is very weak. With very weak iman a Muslims will only look like a Muslims but they do not have the quality of a real Muslims and their amals will have no power to attract the help of Allah.

The first order of Allah is to do the work of dakwah to the non-Muslims and to remind the Muslims about Allah and the orders of Allah. It is the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w and the practice of the Sahabah to give dakwah to the non-Muslims and to remind Muslims about Allah and the orders of Allah. When Muslims are not doing the work of dakwah to the non-Muslims, then we are not practicing the great Sunnah of the Prophet, we are committing a great sin, we are not following the path of the Prophet, and our iman will be very weak. When our iman is very weak, we are unable to use our solat to solve all our problems and to prevent us from doing wrong things. That is the reasons why nowadays many Muslims, although they are performing five times solat yet they cannot prevent themselves from doing evil deeds and they cannot solve their problems using solat as the means. Although they are performing five times solat, yet when they have problems, they still use money and work as the non-Muslims instead of solat, as the means to solve their problems.

THE MOSQUE-ASSOCIATED ACTIONS

Mosque is the center of dakwah to non-Muslims, center of reminding Muslims about Allah and the orders of Allah. It is also the center of learning and teaching Muslims about the orders of Allah and a center of worship. It is also an administrative center as well as the social center for the communities that live in the locality of the Mosque. Mosque must take the responsibilities to administer the affairs of Muslims as well as the non-Muslims in the locality. In order to enable the Mosques to administer the affairs of all the people in the locality, every Mosque must have all the important particulars of every individual in the locality that includes age, marital status, the level of education achieved and the expertise owned by each individual in the locality. In this way, every Mosque will have the information of each individual in the locality and the Ministry of Mosque will have the information of each individual in Malaysia. In this way all the information of everyone who is the citizen of Malaysia and live in Malaysia are within the knowledge of the Malaysian government. With this data, the government can have better utilization of human resources and better plan on human and physical development of the country.

All the money given to all the Mosques in Malaysia during Friday prayer and other times will be deposited in a special bank known as Mosque Bank. The money collected can be used only for the development of all the Mosques in Malaysia such as building new Mosques, making extension of Mosques and paying salaries to the workers of the Mosque. The money can also be used to invest in economic and social activities that can generate income to the Mosques. In this way, all of our Mosques will become self-sufficient in terms of the management. Malaysian Government must treat all Mosques as an outlet to reach every single individual Muslims or non-Muslims in the country. Our government must use the Mosques as an outlet to help all individuals in the country. Everyone, including Muslims and non-Muslims must have a Mosque that takes care of their wellbeing. A person, Muslim or non-Muslim who does not have a job, school to attend to, or business to do or about to divorce or want to marry and who has many problems socially and economically can go to the Mosques and seek help.

In case the Mosque cannot solve his or her problems then the Mosque will have to refer the case to the appropriate government and non-government agencies that can solve their problems. Mosques will have links to all agencies that can help to solve each individual’s problem in the communities. Any person who is referred by an authorize person of the Mosque to any agencies is a genuine case. The agencies must take immediate actions on the case referred to them by the Mosque. Anyone who has any problem can go to his or her Mosque and the Mosque will in turn; link them to those agencies that can help them to solve their problems. In this way every single individual in every locality of every Mosque in Malaysia is taken care by the government. In this way, all the Mosques become the link for the government to reach the people and the people will use the Mosque to reach the government. This is indeed the government for the people and the people themselves are the government.

Among the important economic activities, that all Mosques in Malaysia should invest is health care and supermarket. All Mosques in all localities should have at least one clinic, one pharmacy and one supermarket. The clinic and the pharmacy preferably opened near the Mosques. The clinic should be able to treat disease of the mind, body and soul holistically. Later on, the clinic can expand to include dental and optometric clinic. In other words, the clinic can treat diseases of the body as well as behaviors of the people. The clinic should be able to cure disease as well as to treat symptoms of diseases. All individuals in the locality who has body diseases as well as bad behaviors can obtain treatment from the clinic with cost charged according to the income level of the individuals. Although the poor and the students are charged with minimum fees, but they still can obtain the medical treatment given to the rich people of the communities. The medical bill of the poor is subsidized by the Mosque. The Mosque can use the profit generated from the business to help the poor and the needy in the locality.

Other important economic activity that the Mosque can invest is supermarket. The supermarkets should be convenience grocery stores where people can buy via phones and internet, and goods are delivered to their houses. The supermarket should open twenty-four hours a day and goods are delivered to their houses in case their houses are in the locality of the Mosque. People can also buy the goods by themselves and the supermarkets deliver the goods to their houses. All the products in the supermarket are directly supplied by home industries, factories and farms owned by the government. As goods sold to the supermarket are directly come from home industries, the government factories and farms, the price of the goods will be very cheap; the quality is good and affordable to everyone.

Everyone in the locality of the Mosque will be encouraged to do home industries, and sell their products to the supermarket. In this way, everyone in the locality can become productive and prosperous. When all the people in Malaysia become productive, there will be more business activities and opportunities and the people will become more prosperous. Prosperity means the income of an average Malaysian increases, the price of goods decreases and their buying power increases. All the poor and the destitute certified by the Mosques can be supplied free with food by the supermarket. All the male workers of the supermarket are the workers of the Mosque. They give times to the Mosques and participate in the activities of the Mosque at least two hours and thirty minutes in a day. The profit from the supermarket business can be used to help the needy and the poor in the locality.

Every Mosque also handles the payment of zakat of every Muslims in the locality. The Mosque will collect the zakat and gives to Pusat Zakat, which in turn will distribute the zakat money through the Mosques in every locality. The Mosques’ officers are responsible to recognize those in the localities who are eligible to receive zakat. Similarly, the Mosque will handle the collection of zakat fitrah and gives the zakat money to Pusat Zakat, which in turn will distribute the zakat money through the Mosques in every locality. The Mosques becomes the center of almost all activities of all the people in the localities. When they are in need of help, they will go to the Mosques, irrespective whether they are Muslims or non-Muslims. When they want to marry and to divorce, they will also come to the Mosques to receive counseling or treatment. When they have arguments and misunderstanding between them, they also come to the Mosques. They also go to the Mosque when they have disobeyed the orders of Allah and want to receive advice and guidance. Mosques will be the center of all activities of all the people of the localities. The communities that center their activities to the Mosques will be blessed and helped by Allah. Mosque is the house of Allah and whoever frequently visits the Mosques will become the guest of Allah and all their requests will be entertained by Allah.

THE MOSQUE- OTHER ACTION

Mosque should become the center of the work of dakwah to non-Muslims and center of the work of reminding Muslims about Allah and the orders of Allah. Mosque is also the center of learning and teaching about the orders of Allah, the center of worship and Mosque should act as the social and administrative center of the community. Nowadays we have built many Mosques and we have spent a lot of money building and maintaining our Mosque. We have built many beautiful Mosques and I think some of our Mosques are among the most modern and most beautiful in the world. We are not to regret, having built such beautiful and modern Mosques. We should think positive and now we should make full use of all our Mosques, as it was used at the time of the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. We should not underutilize our Mosque that cost us millions of ringgit and to let it remains empty most of the time. We have used the public money to build the Mosque and the Mosque in return should bring benefit to the public.

Our Malaysian Government should employ some suitable people to do the work of dakwah to the non-Muslims and the work of reminding Muslims in the locality of every Mosque in our country. Our government must also employ some suitable people to do the work of teaching the Muslims who live in the locality of every Mosque about the orders of Allah and to employ some suitable people to do administrative and social work that involve all Muslims and non-Muslims who live in the locality of every Mosque in the country. We do not need to have Mosque committee as we have now, as it is not effective in making our Mosques utilized to its fullest capacity. Our Mosque committee members are selected by the people and they work voluntarily. We cannot have the correct and suitable persons to do the various activities of the Mosque from the committee members that are selected by the people and work voluntarily.

Nowadays the selection of Mosque committee members by the public has become more political than ever before and many selected to become the committee members are more interested with politic rather than to make the Mosques alive with activities like the Prophet’s Mosque at the time of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. Some of the committee members of the Mosque do not even go to the Mosque except when there are meetings and special functions. Having committee members that are associated with certain political parties has often caused division among Muslims in our country. Our government with the blessing of all the Sultans in all the states in Malaysia should stop the practice of using Mosques as political platform and one of the ways to do this is to stop having the Mosque committee members selected by the public.

Our government must employ suitable people with no political inclination to any political party to run the various activities of the Mosques as I have listed above. Mosques are center of uniting Muslims in the locality and this is only possible when the Muslims in the locality are involved with the work of increasing iman and not politics. When the iman of the people are good, their behaviors become good and when their behaviors become good they become united like brothers and sisters. Please read my article on the work of increasing iman and renewing iman. Our government should set up a separate Ministry and a full Minister to lead the Ministry. This Ministry is different from Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia, which is under the Prime Minister Department. It should become a separate and independent Ministry to handle all affairs related to the Mosques and making all the Mosques in Malaysia lively with the activities like the activities at the times of our Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. The Ministry is also responsible to handle all other associated activities of the Mosque, which Insha’Allah I will explain later in my next article.

In one Mosque the government needs to employ in the beginning only around six suitable persons. Four of them can do the work of imam, bilal, dakwah to non-Muslims and reminding Muslims about Allah and the orders of Allah and teaching the Muslims in the locality about the orders of Allah. Initially, they should teach the Muslims in the locality about the first and the second orders of Allah. The first order is doing dakwah to non-Muslims and reminding Muslims about Allah and the orders of Allah. The second order of Allah is to perform five times daily solat with congregation in the Mosque. Teaching these two important orders are priorities over all other orders of Allah. After one solat of congregation about 15 minutes, they should read a book, specially written and approved by the government, to cover various fields to those who attend the prayer. The content of the book must be in line with mission of the government. The other two persons can also do the work of dakwah to non-Muslims and reminding Muslims about Allah and the orders of Allah in the locality. Besides doing the work of dakwah and reminding Muslims about Allah and the orders of Allah, both of them can do the administrative work of the Mosque and social activities and problems related to Muslims as well as non-Muslims in the locality.

All these workers are compulsory to attend training prior to their commencing on their work. When all of our Mosques in every locality in our country are alive with activities like the activities as in the time of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w, then all our problems particularly related to behaviors and social activities in every locality in the country will be solved. Our government will be able to save a lot of money which otherwise has to be used to solve many social related problems. Our government investment on this project will bring great return to the people and the country. When our country becomes like Medinah in the times of our Prophet Muhammad s.a.w, Allah will shower blessing to the leaders of this country and the people generally. Malaysia will become a blessed country with peace and tranquility. Allah will shower abundance of food to Malaysians and there will be no poverty. Foods and the cost of living are cheap. Malaysians will live with prosperity, peace and tranquility. Malaysians will have a high standard of living, there will be no enmity, and everyone will live respecting and loving towards each other.

When our Prophet Muhammad s.a.w was preaching the Arabs to accept and to recite the Kalimah, I bear witness there is no God except Allah and Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah, the Arabs were poor, illiterate, ill manners and in the midst of so many problems. Our Prophet told them to accept and to recite the Kalimah and then to preach the Kalimah to others who has not accepted the Kalimah. Our Prophet said to them, if they listen and follow, Allah will solve all their problems and Allah will make them honored more than the non-Arabs were, at that time. The Arabs did accept and preached the Kalimah to others in the whole world and they became honored. Malays have already accepted and recited the Kalimah and the only thing the Malays have to do is to preach the Kalimah to others in Malaysia and the whole world who has not recited the Kalimah. When the Malays are willing to do this then Allah will make the Kalimah to enter the heart of the Malays. When Kalimah has entered the heart of the Malays, then the behaviors of the Malays will become exemplary and the Malays will become the most honored race in this world, in this century, as the Arabs once upon a time used to be.

THE MOSQUE-THE FIRST ACTION

What action do we have to do in order to make our Mosque in our locality becomes like the Prophet’s Mosque in the time of the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w? The Mosque in our locality will not become like the Mosque of the Prophet in the time of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w unless we decide to make the work of the Prophet s.a.w. as our work. We must decide to do the work of the Prophet s.a.w like what the Prophet did and we must decide to continue doing the work of Prophet at all circumstances and we will only stop doing the work of Prophet on the day we die. When we have decided to do the work of Prophet, we must decide to give times to the Mosque, the minimum two hours and thirty minutes in a day. One hour we should allocate to the work of dakwah and the work of reminding the Muslims, another hour allocated to performing solat with congregation in the Mosque and thirty minutes allocated to the amal of learning and teaching about the orders of Allah in the Mosque. Once we have decided to do the work of the Prophet like the Prophet did, then the help of Allah is already with us. When the time which we have decided to give to the Mosque has come, we must make ourselves present without fail in the Mosque.

When we are alone and nobody else in our locality is ready to do the work with us, we should remember that Allah is with us. We should remember that we are not alone and Allah is with us. When Allah is with us, we should be able to do the work of the Prophet alone and none can give harm to us except with the permission of Allah. Allah will not bring harm to me unless I can bear the harm and the harm will become as a means of my elevation in the eyes of Allah. In the beginning of Islam, even our Prophet used to do the work of visiting the people alone. Even though we are alone, we still have to do the Halkah of Iman and after doing it; we should make doa alone and ask Allah to give hidayah to our family and us and to Muslims to do the work of the Prophet and to the non-Muslims to become Muslims. How to do the Halkah of Iman has already described previously in my article with the topic The Mosque –Its activity. When you finished doing Halkah of Iman and doa you should proceed with doing the work of visiting the people from house to house and from lane to lane in our locality. We should visit every house, Muslims or non-Muslims and talk to every male adult members of the house. How should we talk to Muslims and non-Muslims have been described previously in my other articles. Please read articles on dakwah to non-Muslims and the work of reminding Muslims.

In the beginning as Prophet Muhammad s.a.w used to do, we may be doing the work alone and during these times we must remain steadfast and we must ask Allah to give us companions in doing the work of the Prophet in our locality. Once Allah grants us companion more than three people then we can do another amal of the Mosque, the amal of inviting the Muslims once in a week in our mosque and once in a week in neighboring mosque to listen to lectures that will fulfill the needs and the requirements of our Mosques. At the time of the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w people were called to the Mosque in order to fulfill the needs or the requirements of the Mosque by only the call…Assalatul Jaa-miah and all the Sahabah would gather at once in the Prophet’s Mosque. After Sahabah had gathered, the Prophet, s.a.w will give them motivational talk so that the requirements of the Mosque were fulfilled. Most of the requirements of the Mosque at the time of the Prophet s.a.w were to send group of Sahabah to other places either to do the work of dakwah to non-Muslims or to be engaged in war against the non-Muslims that refused to embrace Islam and to pay jizyah to the Muslims.

Since our iman is weak, we cannot call Muslims to the Mosque with only the call like what the Prophet used to do during his time. In order to call Muslims to come to the Mosque to attend lecture that will portray the needs or requirements of the Mosque, we have to send group of Muslims, minimum 3 people and the maximum 10 to the Muslims’ houses. The groups must go to every lane or road in the locality to visit only Muslims’ houses and to invite only male adults to attend the lecture. Between solat Asar and solat Maghrib, the work of inviting Muslims to attend the lecture can be done, minimum 45 minutes and after solat Maghrib, one person should give a lecture of about 30 minutes to the Muslims that have come to hear the lecture. After performing solat Asar, one person should give short lectures about 15 minutes and persuades the audience to participate in the work of inviting the Muslims to attend the lecture after solat Maghrib. Among those who are ready, we form groups that are ready to do the work of inviting Muslims to attend the lecture by going from one Muslim’s house to another Muslim’s houses. The group consists of at least three persons, with one is made leader, the second person is made as spokesperson and the third is made as the introducer. Instructions on responsibilities, procedures and ways of doing visiting are given prior to the group goes for visiting the Muslims in their houses. In this visit, we are not going to the non-Muslim houses, as the purpose of the visit is to invite Muslims to attend our lecture.

During the visits, we must observe the procedures and ways of visiting Muslims and cordially inviting the Muslims to attend the lectures. Details on the ways of doing the work of visiting Muslims and asking them to attend our lecture in the Mosque, with the grace of Allah I have written in a separate booklet and it will be published soon, Insha’Allah. One person should give the lecture after solat Maghrib. The aim of the lecture is to persuade the audience to fulfill the needs or the requirements of the Mosque. The first need of the Mosque is to bring all Muslims in the locality to the obedience of the command of Allah, especially the first and second command. At the end of the lecture the audience are persuaded to do the work of dakwah to non-Muslims, the work of reminding Muslims, performing five times solat with congregation, learning, and teaching by giving times daily to the Mosque about two hours and thirty minutes. The names of those who are ready to give times to the Mosque, written clearly in a book and they are later on, collected, and given instruction on how to spend times in the Mosque.

When there are needs, according to mesyuarah, the Mosque can send groups of Muslims to other neighboring Mosques in the cities for three days and other Mosques in other countries for longer durations of times such as forty days or four months, and those audiences who are ready to go are asked to give their names too. Those allowed to go to other countries for long duration of times, should be among those who have given times in their locality two hours and thirty minutes daily, healthy and have sufficient expenses to spend and to leave their families. There is no rule that every male Muslim must spend three days every month, forty days or four months every year. None of these rules is mentioned in the Quran and practiced by either the Prophet s.a.w or the Sahabah. The Prophet and Sahabah went in the path of Allah according to the needs of the Prophet’s Mosque. Similarly, the groups sent according to the need of our Mosque to countries for certain duration of times especially to those Muslim countries where more Muslims are leaving the orders of Allah. The work of the group is to bring the Muslims back to the obedience of the commands of Allah, particularly the first and the second command of Allah. To send groups of Muslims to Muslims’ countries where many Muslims disobeyed the orders of Allah are more preferred than to send to non-Muslim countries.

Every Mosque is responsible in bringing the whole humankind to the obedience of the orders of Allah. Every mosque must act similar as the Prophet’s Mosque at the time of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. Every Mosque is responsible over the whole humanity and no Mosque is under the control of another Mosque. There is no concept of “markas” that controls certain numbers of Mosques. Each Mosque is a “markas” and it is independent and work on its own. Each Mosque can decide on its own which areas and countries in the whole world, group of Muslims should be sent in order to make the orders of Allah alive there. Every individual Muslims is responsible over the whole humankind in order to make them obey the commandments of Allah and similarly every Mosque is responsible to make all other Mosques in the whole world, similar as the Prophet’s Mosque during the times of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.

THE MOSQUE-ITS FUNCTION

A must read article by all Muslims in Malaysia

Do all Muslims know the function of Mosque? Why do we build our Mosques and why Mosques are so important to the lives of Muslims? Mosques are centers of all activities of a Muslims community. Every Muslim community must have a Mosque and all the activities of every individual Muslims in the locality centered in the Mosque. Mosque acts as the place upon which the minds, beliefs and actions of every individual Muslim in the locality be made correct. When the minds, beliefs and actions of every individual Muslim in the locality are correct then the environment is also correct and it would be like the environment at the time of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. When the environment of the locality is like the environment at the time of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w then the practice of the complete orders of Allah will become easy to everyone in the locality. Everyone, including children in the locality will find it easy to practice all the orders of Allah and non-Muslims who live in the locality will be easily affected by the work of calling them to recite the Kalimah. At that time, non-Muslims will enter Islam by groups.

The main function of the Mosque is to correct minds, beliefs and actions of all the individual Muslims in the locality and later on in the whole world. In order to achieve this, Mosques must become the center of dakwah to non-Muslims in the locality and the center of reminding Muslims in the locality about Allah and the orders of Allah. The Mosque must send many groups of two or three Muslims to visit the non-Muslims as well as Muslims in the locality. The groups of two or three Muslims must go to every lane or road in the locality and visit every house and in every house, they visit every male adult either Muslims or non-Muslims. In case the male adults are Muslims, we remind them about Allah and the orders of Allah and ask them to participate in the amals of the Mosques particularly the amal of dakwah and performing five obligatory prayers with congregations in the Mosque. We should ask every male adult to give times to the Mosque in order to participate in the amals of the mosques. The amount of times we should ask them is two hours and thirty minutes in a day. During those times, they should give times to amals of dakwah and reminding Muslims about forty-five minutes to one hour, about one hour and fifteen minutes performing solat with congregation in the Mosque and about thirty minutes learning and teaching the orders of Allah. In case the male adults in the houses are non-Muslims we should give them dakwah of  Kalimah and ask them to embrace Islam by reciting the Great Kalimah, I bear witness that there is no God except Allah and I bear witness Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah. I have explained on how to give dakwah to non-Muslims and reminding Muslims previously in my articles on Dakwah to non-Muslims and the work on reminding Muslims.

Each Mosque must act like the Mosque of the Prophet s.a.w during the time of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w that has the function to not only correct mind, belief and action of individual Muslims in the locality but also Muslims in the entire world. Each Mosque must take the responsibilities of correcting mind, belief and action of any individual Muslim in any part of the world. Muslims must act like one body. If any part of the body is in pain, the other part of the body must work together to alleviate the pain. In case, even one Muslim is about to become apostate, it is the responsibility of the Mosque to send groups of Muslims to that person and helps to rescue him back to Islam.

The Mosque must send group of Muslims to that part of the world where Muslims have left the work of dakwah to non-Muslims and the work of reminding Muslims, and bring them back to the orders of Allah. In case, in certain parts of the world there are Muslims who left the order of solat and paying of zakat, it is the responsibility of the Mosque to send group of Muslims to that part of the world and bring Muslims back to the orders of Allah.

It is incumbent duty of every Muslim to ensure that all Muslims in the whole world practice all orders of Allah. When any individual Muslim does not practice even a single order of Allah, all other Muslims are responsible to bring him or her back to practice that order of Allah. One Muslim must take responsibilities to ensure that all Muslims must obey all the orders of Allah and all Muslims on the other hand must take responsibilities to ensure that one individual Muslim must obey all the orders of Allah. During the time of Caliph Abu Bakar, in some parts of the country, there were Muslims who turned apostate and some Muslims refused to pay zakat. Hazrat Abu Bakar sent group of Sahabah to them to try to bring them back to Islam and to bring them back to pay zakat as they used to do at the time of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.  Hazrat Abu Bakar may Allah be pleased with him used to say with approximate meaning… “Shall I live and the orders of Allah die”.

Nowadays many Muslims have disobeyed nearly all the orders of Allah and nearly all Muslims have disobeyed the first order of Allah. The first order of Allah is to give dakwah to non-Muslims so that they accept and recite the Great Kalimah, I bear witness there is no God except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Prophet of Allah and the work of reminding Muslims about Allah and the orders of Allah. Many Muslims still obey the second order of Allah and the second order of Allah is to perform five times daily solat. Men have to perform with congregation in the Mosques and women in the house. In order to establish Islam in the whole world the first action that Muslims must undertake is to have at least one Mosque that takes the responsibilities to establish the two important orders of Allah in the entire Mosques in the whole world. The first order is the work of dakwah to non-Muslims and work of reminding Muslims and the second order is men to perform solat with congregation in the Mosque and women to perform solat in their houses.

Have the Muslims community in the whole world had such a Mosque? Nowadays, Muslims in the whole world do not have, even one Mosque like the Prophet’s Mosque in the time of the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. Allah will choose any country to be the means upon which Islam is alive again in this world, in case they have such a Mosque. Would Malaysia like to be that blessed country as the city of Medinah used to be blessed as the means upon which Islam shines throughout the whole world? Would Malaysia like to be the means upon which her problems and the problems of all other countries of the world solved? Malaysia needs to have at least one Mosque to begin with, like the Prophet’s Mosque at the time of the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. Would Muslims in Malaysia work towards achieving this? We have problems because we have disobeyed the orders of Allah and to solve our problems in Malaysia and the whole world we have to come back to the obedience to the orders of Allah and ask others to do the same. We try to solve our problems by running away from obedience to the orders of Allah; our problems will not be solved but on the other hand, will be increased.

When I saw the picture of our Prime Minister Dato’Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak, I can see that all his hairs including his eyelashes are white. A white hair indicates old age and our Prime Minister is not even sixty years old. What causes our hairs to turn white? I am sure many of us want to have black hairs and to look young. White hairs are signs of deficiencies of certain minerals in the body. Hairs need the minerals particularly; silicon. When silicon is deficient, hairs start to look white and become unhealthy. Nails, teeth and skin also require silicon.

Man made from earth. Allah has created Adam from earth. Allah told the angels that He wants to create man and He asked the angels to prostrate before Adam. All angels prostrate before Adam except Iblis. Iblis refused to prostrate before Adam because he thought he was superior than Adam was. Iblis told Allah that he made from fire while Adam made from earth. Even though Iblis was always busy in ibadah but Iblis did not know that honor and disgraced solely depends on our amals. Honor and disgraced does not depend on what we have and from what we have been made. Although Iblis made from fire, it does not make him more honored that Adam who made from earth. Allah honored and disgraced man or jinn depend on their actions. When Allah ordered Iblis to prostrate before Adam and Iblis disobeyed Allah made Iblis disgraced.

Man made from earth and earth contains minerals. Human body made from minerals and plants grows on earth and take the minerals from the earth. The minerals contain in plants are organic in natures and easily observed by our body. Our body does not absorb minerals easily when the minerals are in inorganic forms. When we give our body with minerals in inorganic form, we are not helping to supplement our body with minerals. We should supplement our body with minerals in organic form, which found in our foods. Our foods should become our medicines and our medicines should become our food. Unfortunately, we eat only to satisfy our taste buds. We do not eat to become healthy. We cook our food so that all the minerals in the food are gone. When we heated our food to certain temperature, we destroyed the minerals. Foods taken in its raw form is better than in cooked form. We should not cook our food at high temperature, as it tends to destroy the minerals and the vitamins in the foods.

Vegetables contains minerals and preferably taken raw. Meat, fish and chicken also contains minerals and preferably taken raw as the Japanese do or cook slightly. When we cook meat, fish and chicken it is advisable to steam, boiled or baked. When we cook our food at high temperature, we destroyed the minerals and vitamins in the foods. When we fried our food, we make the oil, which supposed to be unsaturated to be saturated. When the oil becomes saturated, it becomes unhealthy to our blood vessels. Although oil is important to the body as most oils contains good fat that our body needs, but we should take oil in its raw form. Prophet Muhammad s.a.w eats olive oil in its raw form. Olive oils contain good fat, potassium, magnesium, calcium and phosphorous and significant amount of vitamin E and vitamin A. Vitamin E is a very important antioxidant. When we fried our food even with olive oils we will lose all the minerals, vitamins and even the monounsaturated fatty acids, which are in olive oil become saturated. When we compare our health with those that eats foods in raw form, we will find that those who eat foods in raw form are healthier.

It is very much advisable not to fry our foods and to take foods in its raw form. We should eat vegetables raw and to eat ulam is healthier. We should boil the vegetables that contain latex as boiling will destroyed the latex poisonous to our body. Generally, foods taken raw is healthier than when we cook the foods. We like to eat tasty foods and we do not like to eat healthy foods. In order to make our food tasty, we cook our foods in such a way that we lose all the minerals and the vitamins in the food. We eat to enjoy our foods. We do not make our foods as our medicines. In order to remain healthy we have to takes various supplements and unfortunately, the supplements are in inorganic forms and not easily absorbed by our body. Although we take various supplements, we remain unhealthy. Our children do not like to eat vegetables and they grow malnourished of certain minerals and vitamins. When we become sick, we visit the doctors who give us only drugs to alleviate our symptoms. We continue our wrong lifestyle and we continue to remain unhealthy. We cannot blame anyone including Jinn, except ourselves for the sickness that we are having.

When we are stress, we tend to lose our minerals and when we eats good foods cook in good ways, the minerals lost by the body replenished. When we do not eat good foods and we do not cook our food correctly, we do not replenish the body with the lost minerals. In this situation, the body must take the minerals that are lost by the body from the organs in the body that stored the minerals. When the body is deficient of silicon, the body must take it from the hairs, nails and the skin that store the minerals. A time will come when our hairs will be deficient of silicon. When our hair is deficient of silicon, it turns whites. When are stressed we lose our minerals and when the minerals are silicon, stress can makes our hairs turn white. Prophets Muhammad s.a.w once said with approximate meaning, the revelation of this verse makes my beards turn whites. Fear is stress. Stress makes us to lose our minerals. When the minerals that we lost are silicon, our hairs will turn white.

Since young, our Prime Minister must always be facing stressful situation. I think he is a soft-spoken person who likes to keep his worries and fear to himself. He has become a person with responsibilities since he was young. He became people’s representatives while he was still below thirty years of age. He seldom gets angry and when he gets angry, he kept the anger to himself and his face will turn red. In my opinion the stress that he was facing since becoming people’s representatives and later on as ministers, Deputy Prime Minister and now as Prime Ministers in a span of about thirty years have turned all his hairs including his eye’s lashes white. He should take treatment for his stress. He should take care of his foods. We must make prayer that his health will forever be good until he died.

POLITICAL CRISIS IN PERAK

The government of Pakatan Rakyat does not last long in Perak. Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir of Barisan National took over the post of Menteri Besar and Datuk Seri Muhammad Nizar Jamaluddin of Pakatan Rakyat had to evacuate the seat. Datuk Nizar was rather reluctant to leave the post and the house of Menteri Besar. However, he finally surrendered. When he left the house and the office of Menteri Besar, the public thinks that the problem solved and Datuk Seri Nizar will drop his claim to be Menteri Besar. However, the stories did not end there. The claim to become Menteri Besar continues and the case brought to the court. Prior to that, there are several demonstrations and public outcry asking for general election in Perak. Recently the case was brought to the court and the court unanimously decided that Datuk Seri Zambry Abdul Kadir maintain as the Menteri Besar of Perak.

When the court have decided unanimously that Datuk Seri Zambry was the Menteri Besar, the public think that the case has ended and everyone hopes that the political scenario of Perak will be back to normal. In normal practice, once the court has decided, everyone should obey and accepted it as final. Muslims on the other hand should regard it as decision from Allah. All Muslims should believe that the judges could not make any decision without the permission of Allah. Allah is the one that made Datuk Seri Nizar as Menteri Besar and Allah is the one that give the position to Datuk Seri Dr Zambry. Muslims should believe that nothing would happen except with the permission of Allah. In normal democratic practice, Datuk Seri Nizar cannot become the Menteri Besar of Perak. When Pakatan Rakyat wins in Perak the Menteri Besar of Perak should be from DAP since the majority of seats in Pakatan Rakyat were won by DAP.

Allah made Datuk Seri Nizar to become Menteri Besar of Perak .The constitutions of the states of Perak says that Menteri Besar of Perak must be Malay and Muslims and His Majesty the Sultan of Perak uses his power as bestowed by the constitution to appoint Datuk Seri Nizar as the Menteri Besar of Perak. What happen in Perak clearly showed the power of Allah. There is no power to honor or to disgrace except Allah. There is no power to give government or to take away government except Allah. Datuk Seri Nizar should ponder on these points; did Datuk Seri Nizar have ever imagined becoming Menteri Besar of Perak. Did Datuk Seri Nizar have ever dreamed to become the Menteri Besar of Perak? Just before the election, did Datuk Seri Nizar ever imagine winning in the elections and did Datuk Seri Nizar have ever dreamed that Pakatan Rakyat would ever win in Perak. Before the general election in 2008, no one ever predicted that the opposition party might win with such number of seats and able to form a government in almost five states. Everyone says that the result of the general election in 2008 was unexpected and even many stalwarts of Barisan National such as Datuk Seri Samy Vellu and Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil lost their seats.

Many admitted that the results of the general election were unexpected and they call it a political tsunami. Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim did make a target before the general election to win seventy parliamentary seats but members of Barisan National laughed at him, and they call it, a dream. Allah did everything and none can do except Allah. Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim may not be expecting to achieve his targets but the targets achieved. He must have been caught by surprised at the results of the general election. Our previous Prime Minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi was not expecting, Barisan National could lose so many seats and lose two third majorities in the parliament, the first ever happen to the ruling party in history.

Who make all this to happen if not Allah? No one can make this to happen except Allah. Who sent the tsunami to hit Bandar Aceh if not Allah? No one is expecting that such a city collapsed in a matter of minutes. Allah sent waves from the sea with a speed of nearly 800 km an hour and as high as twenty feet to hit Bandar Aceh. Many are still sleeping and some were about to take breakfast but all of a sudden, they are gone from this world. As a Muslims, all of us including Datuk Seri Muhammad Nizar must believe that there is no God except Allah, which means there is no one that does everything accepts Allah. Allah, who made Datuk Seri Nizar to become Menteri Besar and it, is also Allah that made Datuk Seri Nizar to step down as Menteri Besar. It is not Barisan National or Datuk Seri Zambry that bring Datuk Seri Nizar down. The one that bring Datuk Seri Nizar down is Allah. I am requesting Datuk Seri Nizar and all his supporters particularly, Pas members to accept the decision of Allah. Pas should advice their associate members who are non-Muslims in DAP to accept the decision of Allah.

When members of the opposition party behave erroneously in the State Assembly meeting, it gives a very bad impression to the world about our discipline and integrity. When people’s representative in Malaysia behaves very much undisciplined while attending meeting in the State Assembly, what will be their behaviors outside the meeting. The whole world would think that Malaysians are very much-undisciplined people, when they know the ones who represent them are much undisciplined. Headlines Utusan Malaysia read like this…Macam di zoo…, which means the condition of the State Assembly meeting, is like in the zoo, which implied that our people’s representatives behave likes animals.

I am very sorry to quote such words but that is the true impressions that reporters had when they attended the meeting. When we become the representative of the peoples, we should behave well and we should be very disciplines. We are attending meeting and not demonstrations. We are not in the meeting to express our grudges and complain but to discuss what brings benefit to the people. As a Muslims, I am so ashamed to see the picture of Datuk Seri Nizar standing and shouting and holding papers on his hand. We do not want to copy the way; Taiwanese members of Parliaments conduct themselves in a meeting. We should learn how the American members of Parliaments conduct themselves in a meeting.  In the United States of America, everyone regardless of the party that they represent is free to votes for the laws that benefit the peoples, even though the opposition party mooted the laws.

As an example, when President Barrack Obama wants to send another additional thirty thousand soldiers to Afghanistan, all the members of Republicans and Democrats unanimously agreed. When we are in the Parliaments or in the State Assembly, we are no longer representing the party but the people. Everyone must think and behave as the representatives of the people and not the party. When we are campaigning during general election, we can think and behave as the representative of our party but when we are in Parliamentary or State Assembly meetings, we should think and behave as people’s representatives. Many of our members of Parliaments and State Assembly are very immature politicians.

Datuk Seri Nizar and all the DAP States Assembly men should not bring Chinese culture into malaysian politics. We should not form group and become obsessed with our groups like the ‘Kongsi Gelap’group. We must think as Malaysians and sit in the meetings as Malaysians. Whether we are holding power or not, the most important thing that matters is responsibilities. When we can discharge our responsibilities, Allah will make us honored. Datuk Seri Nizar and Pas Members must ponder on the mistakes that they have committed that makes Allah to overturn their fortunes. In case Datuk Seri Nizar feels highly disgraced by the incidents, he should believe that honor, disgrace comes from Allah, and Allah disgraced us because of our own wrongdoings. Datuk Seri Nizar should make repentance and asked forgiveness from Allah. The more wrong doings we do, the more Allah will make us disgraced. The more we do good amals the more honored we become.

The late Tun Abdul Razak, the second Prime Minister of Malaysia was the one who developed the Dasar Ekonomi Baru or DEB in order to ensure that all Malaysians share equally the richness of the country. Economic prosperity shared equally among all the races in the country was the dream that all our leaders in the past had. All of them want the dream to come true. Our leaders were convinced that unequal distribution of wealth among the races in Malaysia would cause great instability and state of unrest in the country. Without peace and stability, our leaders were convinced that our country would not be able to progress and become a modern and prosperous nation. The racial riots incidence of 13 May 1969 has thought our leaders a great lesson that economic prosperity must not go in line only with one race. Prior to the incidence of 13 May 1969, the Chinese was the wealthiest race while the Malays and the Indians are the poorest race in Malaysia.

Malays used to live in the villages, the Indians live in the rubber estates while the wealthiest Chinese live in the towns and cities of Malaysia. The Chinese mainly do business while the Malays were either working with the government or working as farmers and the Indians were mainly the workers in the rubber estates. Our government at that time under the leadership of the late Tun Abdul Razak, the father of our present Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib embarked on the New Economic Policy or DEB in order to eradicate poverty among all races and to eliminate demarcation of prosperity in line with race. In other words, DEB aims to eradicate general poverty among all of the races in the country particularly among the Malays and other Bumiputeras, which happen to be the majority, and the earliest people to settle in the country.

When the New Economic Policy presented to the nation in 1970 by the late Tun Abdul Razak, it was seemed that Malaysia with the new economic policy will solve her problems forever. DEB was meant to ensure that all races particularly the Malays and Indians will be equally prosperous with wealth as the Chinese. Our leaders at those times and until today believe that when all races are equally prosperous the country will enjoy stability, peace and harmony. With equal share of prosperity for all, the three major races in Malaysia will be happy and contented; this will contribute greatly in maintaining peace, and harmony in the country. With the New Economic Policy, the government wants to ensure that the incidents of racial riots of 13 May 1969 will never happen again in the future.

In order to eradicate poverty among the Malays, the government embarked on a large scale programmed to help the poor but intelligent Malay students that live in the rural areas to study in a modern and well-equipped residential school in the towns and cities of the country. When these intelligent Malays students completed their secondary educations with good results, the government helps them to further their studies in good universities overseas as well as local. Under the New Economic Policy, the governments spent large amount of money in order to provide scholarships to these Malay students to study abroad and in the country. As a result of the New Economic Policy that was introduced in the early seventies, there were many Malays graduated as doctors and engineer in late seventies and early eighties. In my opinion, this intelligent Malay student without the New Economic Policy will remain a poor villager. They will either doing the work that their predecessor used to do, as a farmer, angler or to work with the government as a primary teacher, police or soldier. The best profession that the normal Malays used to have prior to 1970 is to become a teacher.

Without the New Economic Policy, the Malays will never dream to become professionals such as doctors, engineers, optometrist, dentist and architect. Because of the New Economic Policy, more Malays become professionals, entered corporate world, and become global economic player. The New Economic Policy was very successful in terms of educating the Malays and making them professional, business entrepreneurs and corporate leaders. In doing so, the governments to a certain extent have eradicated poverty among some Malays. The New economic Policy have benefitted the poor, intelligent and hard working Malays. This programmed must continue in MEB. The government must continue to give scholarship to the poor intelligent Malays and the poor intelligent Indians students. The Malay professionals that have become successful through the New Economic Policy must be encouraged to help the government to provides scholarship to the poor intelligent Malay students and the rich Indians must help the government to help the poor intelligent Indians students.

However, New Economic Policy or DEB failed to eradicate poverty in the majority of the Malays. The government was trying to eradicate poverty among the Malays by making them farmer or anglers as well as businessperson. The government has tried many ways to help the Malays to become businesspersons and there are so many government agencies to help the Malays to do business. However most Malays failed to become successful businesspersons in spite all the helps from the government. The failure of the New Economic Policy in eradicating poverty among the Malays is due to the Malays mentality and attitudes. Generally, Malays like to work with the government rather than to do business because Malays are lazy when compared with the Chinese. A person who wants to do business and becomes successful must be a hardworking person. Since the Malays are lazy and they like to earn money the easy way, they usually fail when they do business.

When the government gives the Malays, certain license to do certain business the Malays will think the easy way to earn money. They will let the Chinese or the Indians to use their license and do the business and they are happy enough just to get monthly allowance from them. Many Malays think that to get money without work is a blessing and to work hard in this world is the practice of those who love the world. Many Malays do not understand and regard Islam as a complete ways of life and they do not regard working is also a form of worship. With this mentality, the Malays are generally lazy. Although the Malays do not like to work hard like the Chinese but they like to have more money and they like to spend and enjoy like the Chinese.

Because of this mentality, the Malays were cheated easily with the ‘get rich quickly scheme’ than the Chinese. New Economic Policy failed in eradicating poverty among majority Malays and similarly the New Economic Model will fail if the government is not willing to do something on the mentality and the attitudes of the Malays. There are Malays who like to do business but when situation is tough, they lack perseverance and give up the business easily. The Malays who are working with the government are also lazy in executing and implementing government policy. Due to the mentality and attitudes of the Malays, no matter what type of economic policy introduced by the government, it will end with failure. The government must learn the lessons from the failure of the New Economic Policy in eradicating poverty among Malays. Since the introduction of the New Economic Policy, the Malays cannot even achieved the thirty percent target of having shares in the richness of the country. I fully agreed with the opinion of Datuk Salleh Majid an economic specialist that MEB will also fail if all sectors including the government, the corporate and the entire citizen particularly Malays are not doing reformation on the way of thinking and the ways they conduct themselves while doing their daily work.

In order to solve our problem we should act like a doctor. As a doctor, we should know the causes of our diseases and we should also know the treatment. We cure diseases when correct treatment is applied. We are not solving our problems since we have not treated the causes of the problems right. In order to treat the mentality and the attitudes of the Malays we have to change the way Malays think and belief. Using method known as self-talk therapy Insha’Allah, we can treat Malays wrong attitudes. All Malays that receive government contract, subsidies or any financial aids from the government must take the therapy. The laziness of the Malays can be cured using self-talk therapy. When their laziness is cured, then only they can obtain government financial assistance. All government workers especially the Malays must take the therapy, Pekerja Bestari. A researched done on this therapy by a researcher in University Utara Malaysia has shown very positive results. All workers that have taken the therapy for six months have shown improvements in their attitudes towards work. Those that have taken the therapy have become more hard working and productive in their work. With the grace of Allah I have developed a therapy that can treat and cure human behaviors and all praise belongs to Allah. Allah has bestowed me with the knowledge that enables me to develop the therapy. With the permission of Allah, many have used the therapy and have improved in their behaviors. MCA-ITS PROBLEM

The problem in MCA starts when the sex scandal of Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek made known to the public. His political enemies must have planned the exposure of the sex scandal. Datuk Seri Dr Chua admitted that he has committed the immoral acts and immediately he resigns from all his post including the post as the Minister of Health.  By admitting and resigning from all post, Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek had shown a high level of integrity as a politician. He had made a very wise decision to resign from all posts. With his immediate resignation the whole stories about his sex scandal stops. Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek had asked forgiveness from his wife and from all Malaysians. He had admitted that the woman in the video was his old time friend. A friend of mine told me that it is a common practice among married Chinese men to have sexual relationship with another woman. As long as they do not marry the woman their wives tend to tolerate the immoral acts of their husband..

To err is human and to ask forgiveness is a noble act. God has created us, as a human being and every human being are not free from making mistakes. God loves to forgive us, when we asked forgiveness from God. Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek was transgressing the orders of God and he should have asked forgiveness from God. Datuk Seri Dr Chua had not committed any mistakes to his family and to fellow Malaysians but he had committed an act, which is against the orders of God. He was having sexual relationship with another woman who is not his wife, even though the act done with mutual consent. Many other politicians are doing the same immoral acts but their actions not exposed to the public. Many politicians are practicing elicit sex but unfortunately for Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek, his elicit sexual relationship was made exposed. The acts of exposing the wrongdoing of others are not allowed by any religion but it is permissible in politic. Politic is the religion of those who believes that the ends satisfy the means. In other words, most politicians believe that we can use any means as long as we can achieved our goal and the goal of most politicians is to gain power and glory. In the eyes of God, Datuk Seri Dr Chua political enemies were doing more wrong than he was when they exposed his sexual scandals. The aim of exposing the scandal was to tarnish the good image of Datuk Seri Dr Chua as a leader.

When Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek resigned from all posts, he has shown a high level of integrity as a politician. Nowadays it is hard to find politicians with such integrity even among Muslims politician. Many politicians even Muslims are not willing to admit their immoral acts that they have committed even though all evidences show they have committed the acts. They will do whatever it takes to show that they are clean and pious. Because of the exposure of the sexual scandal of Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek, there exist within MCA, two camps. One camps support Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek and the other camp support the President Tan Sri Ong Tee Kiat. The existence of these two camps within MCA were the major reasons for the crisis within MCA. The leader of these two camps cannot be together as each camp was trying to remove the other. Although Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek was the Deputy President of MCA but he cannot works with the President Tan Sri Ong Tee Kiat as both belongs to different camps.

MCA had tried to solve the problem by having a special general meeting. However, the outcomes of the meeting cannot solve the problem. Tan Sri Ong Tee Kiat refused to resign as President and Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek remains the Deputy President. The crisis lasted for some months and it has tarnished the image of MCA and the Chinese communities at large. In recent general election of MCA, delegates must have forgiven Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek for his immoral act when they selected him as the President of MCA. MCA delegates seem to favor Datuk Seri Dr Chua instead of Dato’ Seri Ong Tee Kiat and Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting. God seems to favor Dr Chua more than the other two leaders. It is hope that under the leadership of Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek, MCA remain united as a party. There should not be any groups within MCA. In case MCA continue to have groups, MCA will not be able to represent the Chinese communities in Malaysia in the next general election. Our Prime Minister has also highlighted this point very clearly.
