Would Hudud Laws be implemented in Malaysia? Many are of the opinion, the implementation of Hudud Laws cannot be done in Malaysia because Malaysia is a multiracial and multireligious society. Many Muslims believe that the implementation of Hudud Laws can only be done in Malaysia when all the Muslims in Malaysia have correct and strong faith or iman. However many PAS members have the opposite opinion. They believe Hudud Laws must be implemented in Malaysia now, regardless of whether Muslims in Malaysia have correct and strong iman or not. When will all the Muslims in Malaysia have the correct and strong iman? Is there any effort or work on the part of the Muslims or the Malaysia government to correct and strengthen the iman of all the Muslims in Malaysia? Is it true that when Muslims have weak iman, we cannot implement the Hudud Laws? When will be the time for Hudud Laws to be implemented in Malaysia? PAS promise to the Malaysians during their election campaign that they will implement Hudud laws if they are chosen to rule Malaysia. PAS promise once they are elected to rule Malaysia, they will make Malaysia as Negara Islam. Since PAS join DAP and PKR, the slogan of Negara Islam and Hudud Law have become weakened and now PAS decided to change their slogan to Negara Berkebajikan. PAS changed the slogan because they wanted to wins the vote of the non-Muslims. Since many years PAS was trying to win the general election with the slogan of Negara Islam and Hudud Laws but they failed and only manage to rule the state of Kelantan. Many PAS members are in the opinion that they can only win the general election and rule Malaysia if they changed their traditional slogan to Negara Berkebajikan. With the new slogan PAS is ready to work with DAP a party which is deadly against the concept of Negara Islam and Hudud Laws. (more…)

UNITY OF THE MALAY

Image

The unity of the Malays has been greatly jeopardised by the Malays involving themselves in various political groups. When the Malays started to join various political groups, they began to become disunited. Malays are highly emotional and sensitive people. Some Malays regard the political groups that they belong to similar to religion. Many Malays equate joining PAS to embracing Islam and rejecting PAS to denying Islam. PAS in reality is only a political party but to some Malays they regard PAS as Islam and Islam as PAS. Leaders of PAS have misled many Malays into believing that to join PAS means to embrace Islam and not to join PAS means to reject Islam. Leaders of PAS have been propagating this idea since the day PAS was established in Malaysia and the idea was loudly proclaimed when Dato’ Haji Hadi joined PAS. Some Malays tend to believe that whatever said by the PAS leaders are plain truth and as a result they are ready to live and to die for PAS. When Dato’ Haji Hadi made the infamous Fatwa known as Fatwa Haji Hadi  which was supported by the leaders of PAS who declared that to join UMNO will make a person Kafir. There were Malays in Kelantan and Terengganu particularly who broke their marital and family relationships because their spouse or family were UMNO members. Malays are highly sensitive about their race and religion and they are willing to do anything in order to safeguard their race and religion. Those Malays who are more sensitive about safeguarding the interest of their race more than Islam will join UMNO and those Malays who are more sensitive about safeguarding the interest of their religion more than their race will join PAS. Malays who join UMNO believe that they are Muslims but Malays who join PAS believe that only those who join PAS are Muslims and those who join other parties particularly UMNO are Kafir. PAS is not willing to join Barisan Nasional simply because UMNO is with Barisan Nasional and Pas is willing to join Pakatan Rakyat (PR) because UMNO is not in that coalition. The enmity between PAS and UMNO has been intensifying for more than 50 years and until now it does not seem to end and the solution to the problem remains unclear to the Malays leaders. (more…)

Nowadays many Islamic practices have turn ritualistic. An Islamic practice is said to become ritual when it is practice without even knowing the real reason why such practices have been ordered by Allah, done with incorrect intention and not in the way shown by Prophet Muhammad SAW. When an Islamic practice is performed as a ritual, it has no soul or life. As the practices have no soul or life, it has no power to attract the help of Allah or gain rewards from Allah. A ritual practice may still have the appearance and names of an Islamic practices but it does not possess the soul or life of an Islamic practices. One of the most important Islamic practices that have turn ritual is the reciting of the Great Kalimah ‘I bear witness there is no God but Allah and I bear witness Muhammad is the messenger of Allah’. Upon reciting the Great Kalimah a person must fulfill the right of the Great Kalimah. What is the right of the Great Kalimah? The right of the Great Kalimah is to enjoin Good and to forbid the Evils. What could be the greatest evil ever committed by mankind other than refusing to acknowledge the existence of Allah as the only God and Muhammad SAW as the Prophet of Allah. And what could be the most good action ever committed by men other than to acknowledge the existence of Allah as the only God and Muhammad SAW as the messenger of Allah by reciting the Great Kalimah in the presence of a witness. In order to fulfill the right of the Great Kalimah, a person after having reciting the Great Kalimah must deliver the Great Kalimah to all those who have not recited the Great Kalimah in this world and to persuade them with love and affection to recite the Great Kalimah. When a person recite the Great Kalimah, all the sins from the day he or she was born until the time of reciting the Great Kalimah will be forgiven by Allah. In addition, all the sins will be converted into good deeds. (more…)

Among all the good qualities hardworking is the most important quality to be acquired by all Malaysians particularly the Malays and the Indians. Malays are known to be lazy when compared to the Chinese and the Indians. In order to become an advanced and progressive nation, Malaysian government must treat the bad qualities of the Malays and the Indians, particularly the laziness. What makes a person to become lazy or hardworking, neither race nor food. The wrong belief and mindset are the reasons that make them lazy. What is the wrong belief that the Malays have that make them lazy when compared to the Indians and the Chinese? Most Malays believe that to earn money or to earn material need is an action known to the Malays as worldly action. When Malays go to work, they believe they are going for worldly action. Malays are Muslims and as a Muslim the Malays believes that they can do worldly actions or earning for their worldly needs but they are not encouraged to do it wholeheartedly. As a Muslim the Malays believes, they should do worldly actions or earning for their living sparingly and not wholeheartedly. Many Malays think and believes that we should not work very hard for our worldly needs, as none of us is going to live long in this world. Many Malays think that Allah prohibits us to work very hard for our worldly needs and we are ordered to work very hard only for earning the rewards of the life hereafter. Many Muslims look at those Muslims who work hard for their worldly need as worldly people and are not pious. The pious and good Muslims to most Muslims especially those that has followed the teaching of Tabligh Jamat are those that devoted their whole life in the learning of Islam in religious schools or madrasah. Then after completion of their studies, they devote their life’s wholeheartedly in the teaching of Islam in madrasah and in the work of Tabligh Jamat. Many professionals in Tabligh Jamat are not sending their children to normal schools and to become professionals like them but they send all their children, both girls and boys to madrasah to become hafiz and hafizah of Quran or to become religious scholars who will devote their entire life to the teaching of Islam and the work of Jamat Tabligh. Malays are lazy and when they join the movement of Tabligh Jamat, they become even lazier than before. They work only to earn money and to spend the money to do the work of Tabligh Jamat. When they spend times in Tabligh Jamat, they believe they are doing religious work. When they go for their worldly needs they believe that they are doing worldly works. (more…)

Malaysia as a progressive and advanced country needs to become a clean, well planned and beautiful country. Malaysia with beautiful peoples and good qualities must have beautiful scenery. Along all the main roads in Malaysia, all the lands in between roads or on the sides of the roads are cultivated with flowers of various kinds. When anyone is driving along the main roads of Malaysia, they will be welcomed by beautiful flowers. These flowers are cultivated and taken care by the government and sold in their supermarkets and petrol stations all over the country. Peoples who come back from their offices can stop at any petrol stations to buy flowers as present to their wives or loved ones. Malaysians are generous and loving citizens. The qualities of loving and generous are already with the Malaysians .These qualities need to be enhanced or increased to high level. Since hundreds of years ago Malaysians used to live with other peoples of different races and religions. Chinese, Indians and Arabs came to Malaysia since hundreds of years ago to live among the Malays. They have assimilated very well with the local Malays, who are by nature loving, respectful and generous people. They welcome the Chinese, Indians and Arabs to live and do business with them and in certain occasion to marry with their children. These foreigners assimilated well with the Malays and when they become Muslims, they become like the Malays. When the Chinese and Indians embrace Islam and they marry the Malays, as times goes on they also become Malays. They become Malays because they speak Malay language, practice the Malay customs and culture, and they are Muslims. Even though the Baba Nyonya (the term used popularly for descendants of early Chinese immigrants to the Nusantara region) in all aspects are like the Malays but they are classified as Chinese because they are not Muslims. Malays become non-receptive to foreigners only when the Portuguese came to Malacca with the intention of taking over the Port of Malacca by force. Malays encountered the first ever war with the Portuguese, when the Portuguese want to take over the Port of Malacca by force. The Malays were taken by surprised and not prepared for the war. They had never encountered such warmongers in the past. The Indians, Chinese and Arabs that came to Malacca were friendly, cooperative and good peoples. The Europeans was the only nations came to Malaysia with the intention of conquering and attacking the local peoples. It was the bad habits of the Europeans (and Americans) until today, trying to conquer the world. Only after the coming of the Europeans to Malaysia with their bad intention and attitudes, the Malays start to become less friendly to foreigners. (more…)

Laws are made to be followed. There is no point making so many rules and laws yet no one really follows. Laws and rules are made in order to bring justice to the society. Justice will bring peace and tranquility to the society. In order for Malaysia to become a country with peace and tranquility it needs to have a law abiding and disciplined society. How to produce a law abiding society is a question needs to be answered by all leaders of the world. Every leader wants a law abiding and disciplined society as it is easy to manage the society. Laws are obeyed because of many reasons. Many people obey the laws because of fear the punishments and believe that it is good to obey the laws. However there are peoples who obey the laws because they believe God has ordered them to obey the laws. Malaysia will have a law abiding and disciplined society when all Malaysians believe that it is the order of Allah or God to obey the laws. God has created us and He wants us to live in peace and tranquility. In order to live in peace and tranquility men must be obedient to the laws and God ordered men to obey the laws, even though the laws are made by men. Many people do not follow the traffic laws because they believe that it is man-made laws and are not supposed to be followed. Many do not follow rules and become undisciplined because they believe they are supposed only to follows God’s laws and no other laws. Many do not follow laws made by men and as a result they become undisciplined. In certain areas, the law is written clearly that says “No Littering” but there are peoples who still throwing rubbish in that area. Peoples who throw rubbish everywhere believe that it is not wrong to throw rubbish everywhere as they like, as long as it does not hurt other peoples. In certain countries we saw many people who urinate even in the streets of the city. They do because they believe that there is nothing wrong to urinate at the street as long as they do not disturb other peoples. They are many people who come to work late and do not keep their promises because they believe it is not wrong to come to work late and it is not wrong not to keep promises. These are bad habits that many people have and as a result of these bad habits people become undisciplined. (more…)
