CALIPHATE – THE SYSTEM OF CHOICE

Allah has created men and there is no one who created men except Allah. Allah loves men and all His creations. Among all the creations of Allah, man is the best creation. Allah has made men as the best creation and Allah has given men, a way of life. When men practice the orders of Allah, the status of men will be above the angel and when men do not practice the orders of Allah, the status of men will be lower than the animals. In other words, when men live according to the orders of Allah and died with iman, men will be above the animals but when man does not live in accordance to the orders of Allah and died without iman, men will be lower than the animal. Allah had given many orders and the order of Allah includes all the activities of men. Allah had given orders regarding the relationship of men with Allah. Allah has also given orders regarding the relationship of man with another man. Allah has given orders regarding wealth and power and orders on how to use the power and the wealth given by Allah. Allah has ordered men to live in a community and to have a leader to lead the community. Allah has given men the system to choose the leaders of the community. The system is known as Caliphate (also known as Khalifah or Khilafat). When a system to choose leaders is in place, men will be able to live in peace and harmony. Islam means peace. When Muslims are not using the system of Caliphate, there will be no peace and harmony even in those countries known to the world as Muslim countries. Many Muslims are secular in their beliefs, thoughts and actions. Many Muslims are in the opinion that Islam is only limited to the worship of Allah. Regarding all other issues which are not related to Allah, Muslims think they can follow the ways of the non-Muslims. Nowadays none of the Muslim countries is using the Islamic system of Caliphate in choosing their leaders and all the Muslims countries in the world are either using democracy or monarchy. (more…)

MONARCHY

Monarchy is a system in which the hierarchies of power remain within a certain families, cronies or parties. As explained previously in the last article of mine on similar topic, the system of democracy was initially developed in order to avoid power to remain within only a certain families, cronies or parties. However due to manipulation, the system of democracy slowly turn to become the system of monarchy. Democracy allows everyone to become a leader provided he or she obtains the majority votes in an election. However, there are certain cases where the power goes to only certain individuals of the same families, cronies or parties. When power goes only to individuals from the same families, parties or cronies, the system is no longer democracy but monarchy. Monarchy is the oldest system used by mankind to select their leaders. In monarchy, when a king died, the power to rule the country automatically goes to the eldest son or daughter of the king. In some monarchial system, when the king died, the power must goes only to his son and not to his daughter but in some cases the power can also goes either to the son or daughter. In other cases, when the king has no children the power usually goes to the brother of the king. Whatever it is, monarchy means, the power to rule the country only goes to one family, and no other individual outside the family can become the rulers of the country. (more…)

DEMOCRACY

Democracy, Monarchy and Caliphate are systems which are used by men to select from among themselves, their leaders. Democracy is a system which was developed and used by the ancient Romans to choose their leaders. In order to become a leader in a democratic country, majority of the peoples must votes for him or her to become their leader. It is natural that a person will vote for someone he or she likes to become his or her leader. In democratic system, a person who wants to become a leader must express his or her desires to become a leader by standing for an election. Everyone in a democratic country has the right to vote or not or to stand for an election. In case there is only one person who wants to become a leader and willing to stand for the election, he or she will automatically wins the election and become the leader of the community. When there are two persons who wish to become the leader, the one that wins the majority votes will become the leader. Irrespective whether that person who wins the majority votes is qualified or not to become a leader, is not important in a democratic system. Whoever wins the majority votes even by only one vote will become the leader in a democratic system. In other words, in democracy the truth and the best are decided by the majority and the main principle in democracy is; majority rules. Majority rules are a principle in democracy, which is entirely against Islam and the Quran. In Islam, the truth is the Quran and one can only rules with the laws of the Quran. Majority is the main icon in democracy and to become a leader in democratic countries, a person needs to become popular in the society. (more…)

Islam means peace and anyone who embraces the true teaching of Islam will have peace. Any country which embraces the true Islamic system of governance will certainly have peace in the country. Similarly in those countries that embrace the true Islamic system of wealth distribution will have peace between the rich and the poor. Islam means peace and if the system claims to be Islamic yet the outcomes of the system is not peace, then it is not an Islamic system. In order to have peace, the system must be compatible to human nature and must perpetuate peace and justice. Almost all men love wealth and money. Men love money and wealth because they believe with money and wealth they can have happiness in this world. Except for those who are real believers, most men want wealth more than Allah. Real believers want Allah more than material wealth and they values good actions more than they values wealth. Muslims who have becomes believers want Allah to love them, more than they want men to love them. In order to gains the love of Allah the path to be followed is the path of good actions. Believers value good actions more than they values money and wealth. When a country has more believers than Muslims, good actions will prevail in the country and the result of good actions is the showering of Allah’s blessing to the country. With blessing from Almighty Allah, the country will not have calamities that will retard economical and social growth and among the peoples, there will be peace and harmony. Majority of Muslims have not becomes believers yet mukmin ‘orang beriman’ but have only entered Islam or in Malay we called as orang Islam. Although Islamic systems can work even among ‘orang Islam’ but it works tremendously well when Muslims have become believers. (more…)

Men have developed various systems in order to solve men’s problem. The systems were developed by men in order to attain men wishes to have a good society. A good society is the wishes of every man since men were created. When Adam was created, he was alone and Allah created Hawa to become his companion so that Adam is happy in paradise. Although paradise is a place of happiness, yet without companions, men are not happy. When both Adam and Hawa were sent to earth, they multiply. Adam and Hawa have many children and Allah had made their children born in pairs. Each pair made up of a boy and a girl. Allah had given Adam a system to marry his children, whereby a boy cannot marry his twin sister. He must marry the one who is not his twin sister. One son of Adam refused to follow the system and insisted in marrying his twin sister. In order to marry his own twin sister, he killed his own brother who supposed by the order of Allah to marry his twin sister. This is the first crime ever done by men. When men do not follow the orders of Allah, crimes are committed. When men do not follow the system ordered by Allah, crimes are committed and unhappiness follows. Many systems have been decreed by Allah to mankind and all the system are meant to be followed by men. When men followed the system decreed by Allah, men will attain happiness in this world and the hereafter. Among the things that men love most is the material wealth or money. Men think when they have money or material wealth they will be able to achieve happiness. In order to have wealth and money, almost evenly distributed among men, men developed systems known as Capitalism, Socialism and Communism.

TARIKAT

Tarikat means the path or the road that one must take in order to reach Allah. The path or the road must be the path or the road taken by our Prophet Muhammad saw. There is only one path or road taken by our Prophet Muhammad saw and his companions in order to reach Allah. There is only one path to reach Allah and there are no other paths other than the path taken by our Prophet Muhammad saw to reach Allah. Some says that our destination is the same, but there are many ways or paths to reach our destination. As for an example, our destination is Kuala Lumpur but there are many roads to reach Kuala Lumpur. The argument sounds logical but it is a very misleading argument. First, we cannot compare Kuala Lumpur with Allah and the path or Tarikat to reach Allah with the roads to reach Kuala Lumpur. Kuala Lumpur is a place in the world and certainly, there are many ways to reach Kuala Lumpur. One can reach Kuala Lumpur either by air, road or railway. There are also many roads to reach Kuala Lumpur. Although the literal meaning of Tarikat is road or path but it is not the same as the Tarikat or path to reach Allah. Allah is the creator of the world and the universe. We cannot compare the path to reach Allah with the path to reach Kuala Lumpur. In order to reach Kuala Lumpur we need to use roads but we cannot use the same analogy to reach Allah. In order to reach Allah we need to use good actions. Good actions are the path or road to reach Allah. Allah does not love the worldly things but Allah love good actions. With worldly things, we cannot reach Allah but we can only reach Allah with good actions. Good actions that bring us closer to Allah are the Tarikat to reach Allah. Good actions that bring us closer to Allah must be the mother of all good actions that will give birth to all other good actions.
