‘Allah has promised to those from among you who believe and do righteous deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession in the land, as He granted it to those before them, and certainly He will establish their religion which He has chosen for them and He will change their fear into  peace or security. They will worship Allah alone and will not associate any one with Allah, but to those who disbelieve after this will be the reprobates’

Verse 55 – Surah An-Nur.

All power belongs to Allah. Whoever has believes and do righteous deeds, Allah would make them leaders in this world. In the above verse of Surah An-Nur, Allah promises to bestow power to those who believe and do righteous good actions without the person did anything to obtain power. A person who has believes and do righteous deeds would only want the love of Allah and not power; but Allah will grant them the power. The purpose of life for those who have believe and do righteous deeds is to obtain the love of Allah and they are busy obeying the orders of Allah with the intention only to please Allah until Allah is pleased. When Allah is pleased with them, Allah promises to make them leaders in this world. A person who has believes and do righteous good actions will use the power given by Allah, to establish Islam in the whole world. Allah made them leaders in this world, in order to elevate them, and as leaders they will lead people to do more good actions. Allah owns power and Allah bestows or withdraws power to whomsoever He wants. Allah gives power to those with believes and righteous deeds in order to test and elevate them.  Allah also gives power to those who do not have belief and do bad actions in order to punish them. A person who has no belief and no good actions will use the power given by Allah to disobey the orders of Allah and to amass wealth and not to establish Islam. (more…)

Offenses are committed when a person breach a certain laws. One of the most common offenses is breaching the traffic laws. Traffic offense is probably the most common offenses committed in any countries of the world. Traffic laws are made in order to ensure the safety of all the vehicles and persons who used the roads. In Malaysia, motorcyclists are the most common road users who break the traffic laws. Because of motorcyclists are the most road users who break the traffic laws, they are also the one who are mostly involved in road accidents. Most motorcyclists seem to understand that the traffic laws are not meant for them but for only for others to follow. Most of the time we saw motorcyclists are making the most traffic offenses. One of the most common traffic offenses, which are committed by motorcyclists, is to ignore the traffic light. Most motorcyclists think when the light is red, only motorcars drivers should stop but not motorcyclists. It appears to me, at all times the motorcyclists in Malaysia are always in a hurry. The way they ride the motorcycles, it looks as if they are the busiest person in this world. They often ride their motorcycles at a lightning speed. I am sure those motorcyclists are normal human being, who will be hurt when involved in road accident. However the way motorcyclists ride their motorcycles; it appears to me as if they are not scared of any injury or even death. In Malaysia, in most cases, motorcars drivers will stop their cars at the junction when the traffic light is red but not to some of the motorcyclists. Some motorcyclists ignore red traffic light and continue to ride their motorcycles. I think this phenomenon at the junction with traffic light is so common only in Malaysia but not in any other countries. When there are policemen around the corner only then I noticed motorcyclists in Malaysia will be observing the rules of traffic light. This behavior of our motorcyclists is very unpleasant and very rude to other road users. (more…)

Houses are indeed a need to everyone and not a luxury. Men need houses or shelters in order to protect themselves from the rain and the sun. All newly married couples wishes to have a new house of their own. The demand of houses is always high because everyone wants to have houses of their own. As our population grows, accordingly the demand of houses also grows. The demand of houses increases as our population increases. As our population grows, the area of land to built houses decreases and the price of land increases. As the price of lands increases, accordingly the price of houses also increases. In some cities such as Hong Kong and Singapore, the prices of the houses are very expensive. In those cities, people are forced to live in high rise apartments or flats, instead of houses. High rise flats or apartments are built in those cities in order to compensate for the increase in population and the decreases in land areas. In those cities, prices of the houses are very expensive and only the super rich can afford to live in houses. In Malaysia, particularly in Kuala Lumpur, the prices of houses are soaring high. An average income earner will not be able to buy a house in Kuala Lumpur. (more…)

I am sure there are no licenses being issues in Kelantan to premises, which operate on business of prostitution, but why there are still premises in Kelantan operate on business of prostitutions without license? Dato’ Nik Aziz had also discontinued issuing licenses to premises which operate on business of gambling but I am sure, there are still many premises in Kelantan even without license are operating on businesses of gambling. Dato’ Nik Aziz does not seem to know, on how to prevent evils as shown by our Prophet Muhammad saw? Allah has ordered us to prevent evils by inviting those who do evils to do good. What is an evil and what is good and how to prevent evils, all are being told by Allah in the Quran and shown by our Prophet Muhammad saw. Not issuing licenses to premises, which operate on businesses of evil practices, is not the ways to prevent evils. Evils practices will not be reduced by not issuing licenses. Such actions may even increase evil practices. Evil practice does not depend on license but it depends on the level of iman or belief of a person. Even without having licences, a person with weak iman or with no iman will do evil practices. What is the order of Allah to prevent evil practices? Are issuing licenses and not issuing licenses, related to the order to prevent evils? It is not related and therefore the act of not issuing licenses to premises, which operate on evil practices, is not an act of preventing evils. Therefore, it is not unislamic if we issue licenses to premises, which operate on businesses of evil practices. (more…)
