Many Muslims think that they are believers or mukmin but in reality they are only Muslims. When the person recites the Great Kalimah, that person has entered Islam but that person has not become believers or mukmin. They have not become believers, because the Great Kalimah has not entered into their hearts. Many Muslims think that to become believers is easy. Some Muslims think that they will become believers by only reciting the Great Kalimah. Some think they will become believers, when they are able to perform their five times daily prayers. Some other Muslims think they will become believer, when they are able to perform the five times daily prayers with congregation in the mosques. Many Muslims do not understand the difference between a Muslims and a believer. Many Muslims think that the word Muslims and the word believers are the same. Muslims are those who have recited the Great Kalimah but the Great Kalimah has not completely entered into their hearts. Muslims will only become believers when the Great Kalimah has completely entered into their hearts. Muslims who are not believers will have to enter the hellfire before they are able to enter paradise. Muslims will not be able to enter straight into paradise unless they have become believers. Muslims who have become believers will be able to enter straight into paradise without having to enter hellfire. All others, other than the believers will have to enter hellfire before they can enter paradise. All the peoples will have to pass the bridge of Sirat before they can enter paradise. The hellfire is located under the bridge of Sirat. The persons who are not believers will fall into the hellfire when they cross the bridge of Sirat. But the believers will be able to cross easily the bridge of Sirat and they will be able to enter straight into paradise. Allah says in the Quran that the believers are the one who will inherit paradise and they will dwell forever in paradise.
Allah says in the Quran that the persons who are successful are those who are able to enter the paradise without having to enter the hellfire. Allah says in the Quran that those who are unsuccessful are those who have to enter the hellfire and are deprived from entering paradise. None of us can ever imagine the severity of the punishments in the hellfire. All of us need to enter the hellfire before we can really understand the severity of the punishment of the hellfire. All of us need to enter the paradise before we can really understand the enjoyment and the happiness of paradise.
If a person who used to live in this world with complete happiness is made to stand in front of the hellfire and then that person is asked whether he has ever experienced any happiness in this world, that person will answer that he had never experienced any happiness in his life of this world. The severity of the punishment in the hellfire is so tantamount that a person who used to live in this world with great happiness will tend to forget all the happiness which he used to have when he is made to stand in front of the hellfire. Similarly the enjoyment and the happiness of paradise is so great and when a person who used to live with great suffering and miseries in this world is made to stand in front of the paradise and if that person is asked whether he has ever experienced any miseries in this world, that person will answer that he had never experience any miseries at all in this world.
Believers are known from their actions. The actions of a person will determine whether a person is a believer or not a believer. When we want to know a person we have to know their actions. What a person does is determined by what the person believe inside that person’s heart. What a person believes is what a person does. Believe and actions are inseparable. We will have good actions when we have a correct believe in our hearts. The hearts with a correct believe are known as a good hearts and when a person has a good heart that person will have good actions. In the Quran it is always mentioned that a person with good iman and good actions will be successful in this world and the hereafter. A person is known as a successful person when that person is able to enter paradise without having to enter the hellfire. What is mentioned in the above verse is the believer is a person who is able to safeguard his or her solat and a believer is the person who has khusyuk in their prayers. Who is the one who is able to safeguard his or her prayers? The man who is able to safeguard his solat is the person who is able to perform the five times daily prayers with congregation. The woman who is able to safeguard her solat is the woman who is able to perform the five times daily prayers within the prescribe time of each solat. A person who is able to safeguard the five times daily solat is mentioned in the above verse as a believer.
A believer is not only a person who is able to safeguard his or her solat but also a person who is able to perform the solat with full concentration or khusyuk. What is khusyuk in solat? A solat which is full of concentration or khusyuk is the solat which has the correct intention from the beginning of the solat until the end of the solat and a solat in which there is a constant remembrance of Allah. A person is said to have a khusyuk in solat when that person has the correct intention in performing the solat and who is constantly in the remembrance of Allah in solat. What is the correct intention? The correct intention is to perform solat because it is the order of Allah and to please Allah and the person need to continue having the correct intention throughout the solat. A person is also said to have a khusyuk in solat when that person constantly remember Allah throughout the solat. When in solat, a person remembers other than Allah more than he or she remembers Allah, that person is said to have no khusyuk in his or her solat. A person who does not remember the number of rakaat in his or her solat is a person who has no khusyuk in his or her solat. A person is said to have khusyuk when in solat that person remember Allah more than he or she remembers other than Allah. A person who understand the meaning of the various verses in solat and the various verses of Quran which is read in solat but when he or she does not remember Allah in solat that person is said to have no khusyuk in solat.
Khusyuk in solat is given by Allah and no one will ever have khusyuk in solat unless he or she is given by Allah the khusyuk in solat. Khusyuk in solat is given by Allah to the believers and when there is no one who is a believer in this world then there will be no one in this entire world who will have the khusyuk in solat. I think there is hardly believer from among the umat of Prophet Muhammad saw in this whole world now because there is none from among the umat of Prophet Muhammad saw who is really doing the work of inviting mankind to good and preventing mankind from evils the way done by Prophet Muhammad saw. When there is hardly one from among the umat of Prophet Muhammad saw in this world who is believer then there must be none in this world who have khusyuk or concentration in his or her solat. Prophet Muhammad saw said with the approximate meaning that a time will come in this world when there is not even a single person in the whole congregation prayers who has khusyuk in his prayer. When there is not even a single believer in the congregational prayers then of course there will be no person who has the khusyuk in the prayer.
We cannot see the level of iman which a person has but the quality of khusyuk in the solat will indicate the level of iman of a person. Allah gives khusyuk in solat to the believer and it cannot be acquired by reading books or by attending seminar. Recently I was amazed to have read a pamphlet which read that there is a 3 days seminar on how to attain khusyuk in solat and each participant has to pay certain fees for the seminar. Our Prophet Muhammad saw and the companions have attained khusyuk in solat when they have become believers. There is no one who can gives khusyuk in solat but Allah and Allah give khusyuk in solat to a Muslim when the Muslims have become believer. As in the above verse of the Quran the believers are those who strictly guard their prayers and who are humble or khusyuk in their prayers. Khusyuk in solat is a quality in solat which is given by Allah to a Muslims who have become believer. Allah gives the ability to remember Allah in solat to the person whom Allah loves. Daily Allah gives blessing to His slaves but among all the blessing given by Allah to mankind the greatest is the blessing to be able to remember Allah and Allah gives this great blessing to the believer.
Allah has ordered Muslims to perform prayer in order to remember Allah. When a Muslim is able to remember Allah in solat it means that Muslims have khusyuk in their solat. Iblis and syaitan are working very hard to prevent Muslims from remembering Allah in their solat or outside their solat. Iblis and syaitan will make Muslims to remember other than Allah in their solat. Iblis and syaitan will disturb the Muslims who are in solat and make the Muslims not to remember the number of the rakaat in their solat. A person who sleeps in their solat is the person who has no khusyuk in their solat. The Muslims who remember other than Allah or sleep in their solat are those while in solat are under the control of Iblis and syaitan. Iblis and syaitan will make them not to remember Allah in his or her solat. When Muslims have become a believer the Muslims will have sincerity in their solat and when Muslims have sincerity in their solat, Iblis and syaitan will no longer able to control that person in his or her solat. The persons who are no longer in the control of Iblis and syaitan will have khusyuk in their solat. A person who knows about the meaning of the verses of Quran or the meaning of the various Arabic verses in the solat is not necessary a person who remember Allah in his or her solat. There is no relationship between knowing the meaning of the Quranic verses which are read in solat with the remembrance of Allah in solat. A person who does not remember Allah in solat is the person who has no khusyuk in solat. A person will remember Allah when Allah gives that person the blessing to remember Allah. A person who is not given by Allah the blessing to remember Allah will not remember Allah either within or outside solat. Allah will only give the blessing to remember Allah to whom Allah loves. Allah loves the believers and gives the believers the blessing to remember Allah in their solat and this makes the believers to have khusyuk in their solat. Muslims will become believers when Muslims are doing the work of inviting mankind to good and forbidding mankind from evils.
In the above verses it is also mentioned that the believers are those who avoid vain deeds and vain talks. What are vain talks? Vain talks are talks in which the name of Allah is not mentioned in the talks. What is the example of vain talks? When a person says, ‘I will go to Twintech University tomorrow’, in this example the name of Allah is not mentioned and thus it is a vain talk. What is the example of not a vain talk? When a person says, ‘If Allah permits or insyaAllah I will go to Twintech University tomorrow’. In this example the name of Allah is mentioned and the talk is correct or the talk is not a vain talk. In this talk it is mentioned that the One who is responsible for allowing him or her to go to Twintech University tomorrow is Allah. The person who just says ‘I will go to Twintech University tomorrow’ did not mention that the doer is Allah. The truth is that there is no one who is to able to do anything except with the permission of Allah. A person who says that he will go to Twintech University College tomorrow is not telling the truth and the talk which is not telling the truth is vain talks. Vain talks are talks which are wrong talks or the talk which is not the true talk. When a person often talks and hears the wrong talks the hearts of that person will become a wrong heart. A wrong heart is the heart without the Great Kalimah inside the heart. A person who believes that only with the permission of Allah he or she is able to do anything is a believer. A believer is a person who always talks and hears the talks which are not the vain talks. Talks which consists truth are the talks which are not vain talks. When a person often talks and hears about the truth the heart of that person will become the heart with the truth. The hearts with the truth are the hearts with the reality of Great Kalimah inside the hearts. As mentioned in the above verse of the Quran; who avoid vain deeds and vain talks.
In the above verse it is also mentioned that the believers are those who avoid vain actions or vain deeds. What are the vain deeds or actions? Vain deeds or vain actions are actions in which the actions are done without having any intention or actions done with wrong intention. Actions which are done not following the methods shown by our Prophet Muhammad saw are certainly actions done with the wrong intention and are vain actions. All actions which are done without correct intention are vain actions. Only actions which are done with correct intention are not vain actions. The actions which are done without correct intention even if the person recites the words Bismillahir-rahman-nirrahim at the beginning of the actions will not make the actions to become good actions. Good actions must have a correct intention. When we eat or drink we must have correct intention. When we eat and drink without correct intention, the actions become vain actions. We may recite the words, in the name of Allah the most merciful and the most compassionate at the beginning of the actions but if we do not have the correct intention our actions will become vain actions. The persons who are not believer will eats with the intention to satisfy their hunger. The persons who are not believer will drink with the intention to quench their thirst. Muslims who are believers will eat and drink with the intention because it is the order of Allah and to please Allah.
Muslims who are believers know and believe that there is no one who can quench the thirst or satisfy the hunger except Allah. Muslims who are believers believe that food cannot satisfy the hunger and water cannot quench the thirst except with the permission of Allah. The believers will eat or drink with the intention because it is the order of Allah and to please Allah and this will make all the actions of the believers to become good actions. When believers eat and drink they will eat and drink with the correct intention. What is the correct intention? The correct intention is to obey the order of Allah and to please Allah. When Muslims are not believers they will eat or drink with the wrong intention and this will makes their actions to become vain actions. Actions done with incorrect intention are vain actions. Allah gives to the believer the ability to remember Allah at all the time and because of that the believer will do all his actions with the correct intention. Allah will not make the persons who are not believers to remember Allah at all time and because of that they do not have the correct intention in all their actions. All the believers are the lover of Allah. Allah loves the believers and Allah gives the believers the ability to remember Allah at all time and to have the correct intention in all their actions and this will makes their actions not to become vain actions. As mentioned in the above verse that the believers are those who avoid vain deeds and vain talks.
In the above verse it is also mentioned that the believer are those who are active in deeds of charity and the believers are those who faithfully observe their trusts and their covenant. What it means by active in the deeds of charity? Charity means to give to others what we like for ourselves and to give to others even to those who are our enemies what we like for ourselves. Those who are believers believe that their wealth, health, power and ilmu belong to Allah and it is given to them as amanah or trusts. The believers believe that all the amanah or trusts given by Allah to them are to be used according to the wishes of Allah and in the way of Prophet Muhammad saw. In case a believer is given by Allah the power as amanah the believer will use the power for the purpose of inviting mankind to good and preventing mankind from evils. In case a believer is given by Allah the wealth as amanah, the believer will use the wealth partly for his own needs and the rest will be given in charity to the poor and the needy. In case a believer is given by Allah the amanah of health, the believer will use the health to obey the order of Allah which is to do the work of inviting mankind to good and preventing mankind from evils. A believer is the person of truth and the believers are those who will always speak the truth and who will always keep to their promise. When a believer is given any responsibility, the believer will honor the responsibility and will try to fulfill the responsibility with vigor and sincerity. All believers undertake any responsibility because it is the order of Allah and to please Allah and they will work hard in order to fulfill the trust or responsibility which is given to them and the believers will honour all the covenant they made.
It is also mentioned in the above verses that believer are those who abstain from sex except with those joined to them in the marriage bond or the captives whom their right hands possess. Allah has allowed men to fulfill men’s sexual desires with those whom they have the marriage bonds or with the captives whom their right hands possess. Allah has given men the sexual desires and men need to fulfill men’s sexual desire the correct way. Sexual need is among the most important needs of men. All men including the believers have sexual desires. The believers will fulfill their sexual desires with the intention to obey the order of Allah and to please Allah. The believers will marry because it is the order of Allah and to please Allah. The believers will perform sexual intercourse with his wife or with her husband because it is the order of Allah and to please Allah. The persons who are not believers will marry the woman or the man whom they love but the believers will marry the woman or man whom Allah loves them to marry. The actions of the believers are sincere and the actions of those who are not believers are not sincere. Actions which are sincere are the actions which are done because it is the order of Allah and to please Allah. A believer will have sexual intercourse with his wife or with her husband because it is the order of Allah and to please Allah. Muslims who are not believers will do sexual intercourse without sincerity because they will perform sexual intercourse with the intention to satisfy their sexual desires. Muslims who are not believers will fulfill their sexual desires even with those women who are not joined to them in the marriage bond.
