Men will not be able to obey all the orders of Allah in the way shown by the Prophet Muhammad saw and with the intention to please Allah, unless men have the love of Allah in their heart. This is known as having the true iman or faith towards Allah. Men will not be able to have the true iman or faith toward Allah unless men do the work of inviting mankind to good and forbidding mankind from evil after reciting the Great Kalimah. When Muslims are not inviting the non-Muslims to recite the Great Kalimah, it means the Muslims have committed the greatest evil. The greatest evil of the Muslims must be prevented by inviting the Muslims to do the work of inviting the non-Muslims to recite the Great Kalimah and to remind the Muslims about the Great Kalimah and to invite Muslims to do the work of inviting mankind to good and forbidding mankind from evils and to perform the five times daily prayers. It is obligatory (fardu ain) on all Muslim males and females to do the work of inviting mankind to good and forbidding mankind from evils and to perform the five times daily prayers. It is also obligatory on some Muslims males (fardu kifayah)to do the work of inviting the non-Muslims to recite the Great Kalimah and to invite the Muslims to do the work of inviting mankind to good and forbidding mankind from evil and to perform the five times daily prayers with congregation (Jemaah). Both of the orders are obligatory to all Muslims and the obligatory is fardu kifayah and fardu ain. In Islam, it is only these two orders of Allah, which are obligatory to Muslims, and the obligatory is both of fardu kifayah and fardu ain. (more…)

Allah has created us because He wants us to love Him. Allah gives us many orders to be followed by us with the intention only to please Allah until Allah is pleased with us. Allah orders us to love Allah, those who are loved by Allah and to love all the other creations of Allah. Allah has never order us to hate anyone, any race or any religion. Who are the peoples who are loved by Allah? The peoples who are loved by Allah are those who obey all the orders of Allah with the intention only to please Allah until Allah is pleased. How would we know that Allah loves a person?  The peoples who are loved by Allah are those who have the quality of humbleness or tawa’dhu. Allah is Great. There is no one who is Great except Allah. A person who thinks that he or she is great is a person who is away from Allah and not loved by Allah. A person who is humble or tawa’dhu will have good characters. A person, through who, good come to other peoples is a good person. A person who always does good to other peoples, even to those who do evils to him or her is a good person. Good or bad comes only from Allah. Allah showers His blessing to the entire mankind through a man whom Allah has chosen to become the mean to spread His blessing to the entire mankind. The persons who are chosen to be the mean to spread the blessing of Allah to the entire mankind are known as the Prophets. Prophet Muhammad is one of the men who is chosen by Allah to become the mean for Allah to shower His blessing to the entire mankind and to the other creations of Allah. Allah has mentioned in the Quran with the approximate meaning; we have not sent you oh Muhammad except as a blessing to the entire mankind. What is mean by the words; a blessing to the entire mankind? The blessing to the entire mankind means is the correct lifestyle of the Prophet Muhammad saw, which when practiced by the entire men, will ensure men to have a life of blessing which is full of happiness in this world and the hereafter. With the permission of Allah in many of my previous articles, I have explained about the meaning of Sunnah. All the actions of our Prophet Muhammad saw are known as Sunnah. Sunnah is to explain the Quran. Quran and Sunnah are both from Allah. Quran is the words of Allah which expound the wishes of Allah and Sunnah is the actions of the Prophet Muhammad directed by Allah to explain all the actions which should be done by Muslims in order to fulfill the wishes of Allah. In other word, Sunnah is the actions of Prophet Muhammad saw to explain the Quran. Prophet Muhammad saw had left us the Quran and the Sunnah and whoever among the Muslims who follow the Quran and Sunnah, they will always be guided on the correct path. Hadis is the words of Prophet Muhammad saw which explain about Sunnah. Hadis could be a true Hadis or it could be a false Hadis but none of the Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad saw is a false Sunnah. There are many Hadis which are false Hadis and Muslims should not be practicing on whatever mention in false Hadis. Quran was written during the times of Hazrat Abu Bakar only a few years after the demise of our Prophet Muhammad saw but Hadis was written about two hundred years after the demise of Prophet Muhammad saw. I think one good reason why they are so many false Hadis is because Allah did not promise to guard the sanctity of the Hadis as Allah has taken the responsibility to guard the sanctity of the Quran. Many Muslims do not aware of the difference between the term Sunnah and Sunnat. Many Muslims think that the two words have the same meaning. Many Muslims know the word Sunnat but very few who knows and understand the word Sunnah. Many Muslims think that the word Sunnah also means Sunnat. When something is mentioned to be a Sunnah, many Muslims think that the Sunnah is also Sunnat to be practiced. When a practice is Sunnat, it means that the practice is not obligatory or Fardu to be practiced by the Muslims. A practice which is Sunnat can either be a practice which is recommended or highly recommended for Muslims to practice. Many Muslims men are having beard because they believe the practice of having beard is the Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad saw. However there are many Muslims who do not know the Hukum of having beard is only Sunnat Muakkad or highly recommended to be practiced by Muslims. On the other hand according to the Indian Muslim who majority is following the Mazhab of Imam Hanafi, the practice of having beard is Wajib. However, the Hukum of Wajib in Mazhab Imam Hanafi is the same as Sunnat Muakkad or highly recommended practice in Mazhab Shafie. Some Muslims men are wearing turban and jubbah because they believe the practice is the Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad saw. However many Muslims do not really know what the Hukum of wearing turban and jubbah is. The Hukum of wearing turban and jubbah is only Sunnat which is not Muakkad or recommended to be practiced by Muslims. There are some Muslims who are so particular in wearing turban and jubbah but they are not particular in observing the Sunnah which is Fardu or obligatory to be practiced by Muslims. (more…)

Marriage is the union of two persons and since the beginning of time it has always been the union between men and women. In order to continue men lineage on this earth, Allah has ordered men to be married with women and not to be married with men. Allah has made men and women to be biologically compatible to reproduce. Allah ordered men to be married with women so that human being can reproduce and the human population can grow in numbers. It is impossible for the human population to grow in numbers without being able to reproduce. Human beings are able to reproduce only when men are ordered to be married with woman and not with men and women are ordered to be married with men and not with women. Allowing men to be married with men and allowing women to be married with women is the same as trying to stop the human race from reproduce and from growing in numbers. Allah is the One who has created men and women and it is the order of Allah for men to be married with women and not for men to be married with another men and also it is the order of Allah for women to be married with another men and not to be married with another women. When men are married with men and women are married with women, it means we have disobeyed the order of Allah and certainly Allah will not be pleased with those men and women who have disobeyed the orders of Allah. We took our flight to Medan in the morning of Friday on the first February 2013. Our destination was a small village of our friend, Diki, known as Lawe Loning Harapan in Aceh Tenggara of Northern Sumatra. Our friend, Diki was waiting for us at the airport of Medan and with him there were two vans which will take us to his village. According to Diki, the whole journey to his village will take about seven hours. When our vans were cruising along the winding roads from Medan to Aceh Tenggara we could realize how beautiful the roads in Malaysia are. Immediately I realized that Malaysians will only feel thankful to Allah over the bounties which are given to all Malaysians when they are made to travel along the winding roads in remote Indonesia and Cambodia. In many remote areas of Indonesia such as Bengkulu and Aceh Tenggara, all the roads are not well maintained and there are so many holes all along the roads. Although there were very few cars moving along the road but all of them were moving at a very slow speed. All the cars had to move at a very slow speed because there were so many pot holes on the roads which were filled with water. When our vans were cruising along the roads I could observe that there were also many heavy trucks which carry heavy loads of goods using the roads. I think the heavy trucks which carry the heavy loads of goods and together with the poor quality of the material used to make the road, had caused many roads in remote areas of Indonesia to have many pot holes. Offenses are committed when a person breach a certain laws. One of the most common offenses is breaching the traffic laws. Traffic offense is probably the most common offenses committed in any countries of the world. Traffic laws are made in order to ensure the safety of all the vehicles and persons who used the roads. In Malaysia, motorcyclists are the most common road users who break the traffic laws. Because of motorcyclists are the most road users who break the traffic laws, they are also the one who are mostly involved in road accidents. Most motorcyclists seem to understand that the traffic laws are not meant for them but for only for others to follow. Most of the time we saw motorcyclists are making the most traffic offenses. One of the most common traffic offenses, which are committed by motorcyclists, is to ignore the traffic light. Most motorcyclists think when the light is red, only motorcars drivers should stop but not motorcyclists. It appears to me, at all times the motorcyclists in Malaysia are always in a hurry. The way they ride the motorcycles, it looks as if they are the busiest person in this world. They often ride their motorcycles at a lightning speed. I am sure those motorcyclists are normal human being, who will be hurt when involved in road accident. However the way motorcyclists ride their motorcycles; it appears to me as if they are not scared of any injury or even death. In Malaysia, in most cases, motorcars drivers will stop their cars at the junction when the traffic light is red but not to some of the motorcyclists. Some motorcyclists ignore red traffic light and continue to ride their motorcycles. I think this phenomenon at the junction with traffic light is so common only in Malaysia but not in any other countries. When there are policemen around the corner only then I noticed motorcyclists in Malaysia will be observing the rules of traffic light. This behavior of our motorcyclists is very unpleasant and very rude to other road users. (more…)

I am sure there are no licenses being issues in Kelantan to premises, which operate on business of prostitution, but why there are still premises in Kelantan operate on business of prostitutions without license? Dato’ Nik Aziz had also discontinued issuing licenses to premises which operate on business of gambling but I am sure, there are still many premises in Kelantan even without license are operating on businesses of gambling. Dato’ Nik Aziz does not seem to know, on how to prevent evils as shown by our Prophet Muhammad saw? Allah has ordered us to prevent evils by inviting those who do evils to do good. What is an evil and what is good and how to prevent evils, all are being told by Allah in the Quran and shown by our Prophet Muhammad saw. Not issuing licenses to premises, which operate on businesses of evil practices, is not the ways to prevent evils. Evils practices will not be reduced by not issuing licenses. Such actions may even increase evil practices. Evil practice does not depend on license but it depends on the level of iman or belief of a person. Even without having licences, a person with weak iman or with no iman will do evil practices. What is the order of Allah to prevent evil practices? Are issuing licenses and not issuing licenses, related to the order to prevent evils? It is not related and therefore the act of not issuing licenses to premises, which operate on evil practices, is not an act of preventing evils. Therefore, it is not unislamic if we issue licenses to premises, which operate on businesses of evil practices. (more…)

How to deal with evils activities such as prostitution, gambling, alcoholism, drug addiction and so on in an Islamic country? What are the guidelines? How to eradicate these evils activities? Some Muslims are in the opinion that no evils activities should exist in Muslims countries. They are in the opinion that all evil activities are to be banned completely and immediately in Muslim countries. When those Muslims are in power, they will decree orders to close immediately all premises, which operate evils activities and will withdraw all licenses or permits, which allow such premises to operate. When they are in power, according to these Muslims, these are the only methods to be used to prevent evils. Is it true what they have done is the correct way to prevent evils with power? Is it true what they have done was also done by our Prophet Muhammad saw? One classical example to demonstrate on how these Muslims are eradicating evils practices with power, are shown by the actions of Taliban. Everyone knows who the Taliban are and what they did when they were in power in Afghanistan. Taliban believe many evils actions eminate or come from women and to them, women are the sources of many evils. According to Taliban, when women are allowed to go out and work, evils practices will increase. In order to prevent evils practices, women in Afghanistan were not allowed to work. Similarly according to the Taliban when women are allowed to go out of their homes without wearing purdah, women will seduce men into evil actions and in order to prevent evils, during the time of the Taliban, women in Afghanistan, when they were outside their homes were made compulsory to wear purdah with their faces completely covered. Taliban does not allow their girls and women to go to schools, colleges or universities and become educated as, to the Taliban educated women will be able to work outside their homes and to them, working women are the sources of many evils.
